   Asked about gluten free menu, constantly told to check allergens online. Told to ask at the restaurant upstairs and a staff member even said it’s not inclusive here which says a lot. Gluten free highlighted on salads which seems like a tick box situation Not impressed!

   The food was quite quirky as a Smokey BBQ theme. Although nice I would have liked to see a bit more variety. It was very handy being next to the arcade to the kids could go off and play whilst the adults chatted.

   Food was great even though my wife said was a little expensive. Wonderful atmosphere when the sports are on and that view is something else. Only downside, and I get how it works, but the choice of beer was dire. Carling and Madri and Coors, possibly the 3 worst beers in the UK and at £5 plus a pint it’s not good. Every pint I had was flat too and I kept taking it back. The staff were very apologetic and did replace it with no fuss. I had to drink spirits instead. Would have been great to see some nice local beers and ciders on. Despite this, we went a couple of times during our stay and enjoy it.

   Decided to try smokeys after eating at Nathan's 2 days before. So glad we did, we at around 15.30 after swimming so we managed to get some bits off the grazing menu. 4 kids had hot dogs £4.99 each 2 portion chips Lattice fries with fried eggs 1 Greek salad and extra Jacket Spud Filthy onion rings --- (so tasty would highly recommend) Brisket stacker 2 apple slaws Tasted really fresh and full of flavour, the brisket was melt in your mouth. Onion rings were really crunchy soft fresh onion in the middle (not mushy processed) and not over cooked! Hotdogs- they were tightly packed with meat loads of cheese sauce. Kids couldn't finish them. Salad - extremely fresh but possibly a little too much vinegar if I need to be critical. Lattice fries very tasty but the salsa makes them soggy very quick. (But still worth having ) not too spicy. Bill for all 7 people was around £80

   This restaurant is in a great location, overlooking the sea, but unfortunately whenever I visit, which is at least once a week, the tables are dirty. I watched the waiter cleaning the table and he used one of the menus to scrap the dirty food off the table and on to the floor. Then he just put the menu back into the menu holder, I can't believe what I had just witnessed. On very visit, I have to ask a waiter to clean the table and, even, then, it's never cleaned properly. They spray an awful chemical cleaner into the air, most of it ends up on yourself then onto the table. I watched a waiter cleaning a table opposite and he sprayed the cleaning product practically into the faces of the customers. It would also be much nicer if there was a choice of wine, the wine on offer is very cheap and tasteless. I would rather pay more and drink a better quality wine! However, there's lots of choice for the beer drinkers!

   Nice to grab a little food here while the littleun played in the sandpit. Wait times were fairly long, and food was tasty. Probably wouldn't come here again, but it was good while it lasted - a pleasant hello & goodbye

   The ribs are a must. Really, they were especially good. We ordered Greek salad, dirty fries and 6 ribs. Huge portions, beautifully presented, everything fresh and sooo tasty. Lovely staff, very good location. Strongly recommended.

   Good bar and restaurant with moderatly fast serving times , even when busy, usually clean with good food, nice staff. Nice environment to be in.
