   Excellent fish n chips. We are visiting the area so tried Sam's and we're really pleased with the food. Was a busy Friday but service was still quick. The regular cod was huge! Big enough for my husband and daughter to share. Lovely batter on the cod and the battered sausages and Excellent chips. Just a shame we dont live closer as it was so good. Reasonable price too

   I have coeliac disease as do my daughter and granddaughter. These are the best gluten free fish and chips we have ever tasted. Staff are very friendly and the shop is spotlessly clean.

   Picked up a takeaway order when visiting my sister. Was a Friday night so it was super busy! Staff were friendly but understandably looked like they were stressed by the busy nature. I got jumbo sausage and chips, asked for salt and vinegar however there wasn't any on my order which hindered my experience a bit

   Absolutely the best chips around, scrummy. This chips bar knows how to cook loads & fast, and not falter on flavour. The chips are firm in the outside, whilst fluffy inside and have flavour - something quite a few chip shops can't manage. The scampi is always succulent & moist, whilst the haddock is amazing both in flavour and with a mon greasy batter. This chippy deserves its high rating. NB. Order ahead by phone, as always super busy

   This is the best fish and chips in this area. £8.00 for a large cod or haddock at the time of posting this without any chips seems a bit steep but it is priced about right. The quality of the fish and chips here is exceptional and the portions are very generous. Infact a large cod / haddock really is large. The batter on the fish is crispy and absolutely delicious, then you get to the fish which is pure white and flaky. The only thing left to make this fish and chip shop perfect would be to place it near the seafront. This is how you need to experience fish and chips, get here today!

   Wonderful fish and chips, changed from another local chippy to here. Portions are big and the food is always hot. My husband always has the OAP cod and chips and it is plenty for him. Ali and his staff are cheerful and very helpful
