Had a lovely visit to the animal park. A good variety of animals to see, my favourites were the otters. The staff were very friendly and it is worthwhile listening to their talks during the day. Due to the recent heavy rain it was very wet underfoot so recommend wearing suitable footwear. When we visited it was only open at weekends due to reports of bird flu nearby.

Well worth a visit, feeding the goats, donkeys, ponies, sheep and pigs was the highlight. Definitely buy a few bags of feed as you enter, they were all very gentle. They have plenty of other animals worth checking out too as you walk around, a lot of them being fed so you can see them all out and about. Very enjoyable three hours slowly walking around to see all of the animals.

Great day out and lots to see. An ideal visit for all ages. I had a great time wandering around and watching the birds and animals. The flying display by the owls was fantastic and great to watch. The short clawed Asian otters were great fun to watch as they ran around their area. I would recommend and i will visit again next time i am in the area.

Extremely good value for money. £40 for two adults and two teens. We got to see the feeding of the artic foxes, raccoon dogs and fennec foxes, got to hold a skunk and got to see an awesome bird display with an amazingly talented raven called Einstein. To the delight of all of us we got a very close look at the capybara. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lovely little cafe outside. A toilet at the front in the shop and one by the picnic area with a little hand washing area. We brought animal feed at the shop, it is clearly marked which animals you can and can’t feed and you’re given a handy flyer when you buy your tickets saying which animals you can feed. There are very large new fox enclosures being built which will be lovely for them in the coming future. We went with open minds having read mostly good but a couple of people's less than faltering reviews , not sure what these people expected but were extremely happy we went. It’s not massive but we loved our day out.

What an amazing day out we've just had. Paul and his team are so knowledgeable and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The children ( age 7, 13 & 14 ) all loved it, from feeding the Raccoons and petting the Skunks to watching the birds dance to Radio Gaga by Queen. The range of animals is fantastic and it's so much more personal and close up than other similar zoos and at around £35 for a family of 5 it represents excellent value for money, and with fingers crossed Otters, Sloths and much more due to arrive in coming months we will definitely be back before long !

A must for the kids. Bird show good though if you don't like birds don't go to show as a very large owl does get close. Thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my grandchildren. Reasonable price too.

What a lovely day out it wasn't massive so I was able to complete the walk around I use a stick and found it easy to navigate. There was lots of different animals that were all out and easy to view. Some that you could feed with a sheet to tell you which ones. The Parrots were my favourite like many others. Friendly staff little gift shop and w/c

A great animal park, with a variety of animals to look at. What we really really enjoyed were the animal activities that they have here. Feeding the camel's is great fun, petting the guinea pigs too, and the flying demonstration with the owl's is fantastic. What also sets it apart is the fact you can always pet the tortoises and the peacocks are allowed to wander about all through the park. I would recommend the park to anyone with young kids/grandkids.
