Chaotic and poorly run, basic stuff like signage wrong, shelves empty. It's weird that you can still go in the store and shop when the aisles are full of cages of food blocking the shelves and many aisles empty and shelves and fridges being moved and reinstalled. It feels unsafe and for a company with Tesco's money and power surely they can do better - even just closing the store to make changes and restock more quickly and safely.

Recently the store has been in a bit of a decline. Let's start with as you enter the store, you are greeted by smokers next to the entrance, both employees in plain sight and people sat on a bench by the entrance. This is not pleasant for a non smoker, nor is it a good image to see employees smoking in plain view. Next up is the recent reshuffle of the entire store, it's an exercise of the unnecessary, confusing regular customers and making what should be a 20 minute shop last three times as long whilst you try and figure out where to go. The car park is next and l annoyingly on most occasions you have to deal with either people who simply don't know how to park, or those who don't know how a one way system works, partially due to no proper signage to assist with navigation. Finally the petrol station now often has queues because half the pumps have out of service signs and the "long reach hoses" are just a plain lie, with those having anything but a small hatchback having to wait to get to a pump that is close to their fuel door. Honestly, with a few small improvements and just keeping the layout of the store as it is, this could be a much higher review. Especially if they implement a non smoking zone outside the doors of the store and better sign the car parks one way system (or just ditch it altogether).

Car park is a maze of one way systems and trying to find the exit was a trial. Also why are there a load of disabled spaces in the area for parent and child. Saw the signs and drove over only to find lots of disabled spots??!

The guy on the check out had no respect or care for the items we had bought. Throwing them through the scanner as if he was after a gold medal for being the quickest. I did confront him and told him to be more careful. No apology just denial. A tray of 3 individual trifles had been thrown on their side and other heavier items piled on top. He did slow down with the last few items, giving me time to bag the clutter of previously scanned items. I will not name him but he was the only man on the 2 open checkouts open at 8.35am Bank Holiday monday 25th August.

The staff were really friendly and super helpful when we couldn't find something, the lass pointed us in the exact location. The shop is huge, fully stocked, and we found lots of nice picnic bits to enjoy in the sunshine. Did get a bit lost trying to leave the carpark, but all was well ;)

I have breakfast here quite often. It's always spotless! A great vegetarian breakfast, but today I had a vegetarian sausage and mushroom sandwich, really tasty. It reminds me of a posh Costa and plenty of space between tables, not cluttered. Lovely staff too.

I would have liked more help at the mobile phone department with setting up my new mobile phone. Still couldn't get to grips with transferring things from my old phone to the new one, at home, as I'm not that techy savy.

I shop at Tesco Cleethorpes because it's close but it has become a miserable experience. The rise of "Click and Collect" means the aisles are frequently blocked by their carts, the reduction of staffed checkouts and the increase of self checkouts means queues build up rapidly. I shop anytime between 6am and 11:30am but it makes little difference.
