We loved everything about Sani Lodge, including that it was run by the indigenous Kichwa. The accommodations and food were amazing for being in the middle of the Amazon. We met world-renown scientists while there, which was very cool. We also had no idea that our group of four would have our own dedicated guide, who was fabulous btw. It was an unbelievable experience and the assistance at the airports was so smooth and helpful!
As far as the Angel and our time in the Galapagos, it was spectacular. First class, five star, amazing. It was luxurious to be in a group of 16 (from all over the world and we meshed beautifully). Our guide, Alejandra Camacho was superb, not only in finding and identifying animals, but in gently controlling the group. We loved the crew! When we returned from an excursion, they would great us back on board with a soft towel, a cool cloth or something to drink. We felt very pampered. It was super fun, and extremely well organized. And, of course, the Galapagos islands were amazing. Our itinerary took us to less visited areas and the days were packed with activity. The snorkeling was the best we have ever had.

Absolutely fantastic almost 4 week trip to Ecuador and Peru! We had separately booked the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu (in 2019…), and when we could finally travel again, decided to go to the Galpagos before hand. We were very luck that Rachel could get us a cabin on the Ocean Spray - a wonderful ship that I was on in 2015 which has been refurbished and has new ownership. Staff and naturalist were wonderful, cabins were roomy, food was great - and a huge shout out to Edison, our cruise director. After the cruise, Rachel very wisely suggested additional time in Peru before the trek to get used to the altitude, and arranged the best possible itinerary for us: Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, train to Cusco, and then tours of Cusco and Lima bookending our Trek. All the local tours in Peru were wonderful - Rachel knows how to find excellent local tour companies to partner with. This was the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Rachel and Think Galapagos!

The staff (especially Rachel) were very helpful in replying to questions before the trip and provided us with lots of useful information beforehand on what to pack/what not to do on the island etc.
Our transfers throughout the trip were excellent, with our driver always early and waiting, which put both our minds at rest.
When we arrived in our first hotel the company left us a list of restaurants/places to visit. All the hotels they recommended were excellent and the Beluga cruise we booked onto was fantastic.
