I am a pharmacy technician and suffering with an upset stomach. I asked my husband to get me some pepto bismol from chemist and the pharmacist refused to sell him it, saying I need to eat and drink HONEY!!!! HE SHOULD NOT be working as a pharmaceutical giving advise when he didn't ask for my medical history for a start, I have high blood sugar, borderline type 2 diabetic. The sugar content in honey is high which could cause severe implications and he should also know that honey can worsen dehydration when someone is already suffering with diarrhea and vomiting! I spoke with my GP who agreed with me and also ADVISED me to try pepto bismol for 2 days and monitor my blood sugar. I advise anyone to avoid this pharmacy unless you want to risk your heath!!!

Staff are nice enough however their time from receiving a prescription and getting that out to the customer is disgusting! I need my medication each and every month last month they had taken over a week to get together resulting in me being very ill from a lack of medication when I went in they did do it on the spot. This month they received my prescription 30th September we are now 11th of October. There is no excuse for this and needs investigating! Somebody is going to get very poorly because of this pharmacy and their lack of keeping up with prescriptions. And before replying I will be contacting customer services on Monday as I’ve seen is your response on every review and no clear resolution to anybody’s problems.

I regularly pop in here for prescriptions. The shelves always appear empty, could do with a good refill. Often a long queue for prescriptions also.

Several months ago I could never think of giving this pharmacy a bad thought because at least when I ordered my prescriptions, they would notify me when they were being dispensed, then notified when ready to collect. Over the last 3 visits I have not recieved any form of notification from the chemist, have to go in and ask to see if my prescription is ready several days after ordering, and they are still not even ready. Absolutely appalling service and would not reccomend anyone who needs any form of prescription medication to trust this chemist in giving you your medications, because like myself you will be missing medications for 4/5 days since last dosage. Absolutely awful.

0 stars . Pharmacist I spoke to last week was rude and abrupt , I felt as though I was an inconvenience when asking for help and advice . It’s literally your job . I came in smiley and polite and said ‘Hi can I speak to a pharmacist please’ and was quickly clapped back with ‘I am the pharmacist’ . How rude . He then expected me to speak about my problem over the counter I had to specifically ask if we could quickly talk in the back room . So unprofessional. Not much advice was given , he just looked bored and pissed off by my presence .

Having phoned this place for over a week and getting no reply, my partner went into store. The phone number on the website is wrong. I was given the correct one.

Prescription is always late and usually missing items. They don't care either when you complain about it. I have chronic health issues and struggle when my medication is missing. Would not recommend to anyone.

I use this pharmacy all the time. The staff they have in there now are always polite. I understand that you can not get your prescription at lunch time but that goes for every chemist!! Covid has hit hard for everyone and they have been open all the time and are still open and working hard. There are shortages of everything across the world... Not just medication.... That is not the chemist's fault..... So I just wait. I will continue to use this chemist.

One of the poorer pharmacy's in the area in my opinion. They close the branch completely around lunch time which is no good if you need to pick up your medication on your lunch break. Some of the staff could be more helpful.
