The staff here are always friendly and helpful. My puppy had a bit of accident. They saw her the same day and was so caring towards my puppy and me. My puppy had to have an operation and they were very informative before and after the op. One day while I was busy sorting out business with reception my puppy decided to help herself to some treats. She opened packets and started munching. I offered to pay but staff said it was ok. There were so friendly about it. Always a quick friendly service.

I have needed to attend the vets quite a few times recently for my cats ongoing issues. I don't usually leave reviews but the interactions I have had with some of the ladies on reception (Becky, Bridgett and Nicola) have been an absolute pleasure. They are knowledgable, patient, reassuring and compassionate. They offer so much empathy to each of their customers. It has also been so reassuring to see how gently the vets have been with my nervous boy. The staff here do an outstanding job.

They were very kind and took in my very precious cat who was attacked by a dog. Even though not registered with them, they rang me immediately. Sadly, I had to make the decision that she needed to pass on. They treated her very kindly and informed me once she was asleep. They also sent a card of condolence which was above and beyond considering we were not registered with them. They are now taking care of her ashes and I feel comforted that she is being treated with kindness after her passing.

I was recommended by a friend, as I had a bad experience with my last vet. I’m so grateful for the recommendation. They were kind, thoughtful, informative, patient, professional & very very knowledgeable. I called this morning, I was seen that afternoon! Thank you

Sadly I had my beloved dog put to sleep 5 weeks ago. Downlands have been awful since, nearly 2 weeks later I received my invoice this was on the Tuesday, I wasn’t coping well at this time as my Luna’s birthday was due on the Saturday, on the Saturday her birthday I had another letter from there debt department chasing me! No card which apparently they send but for some reason I and my dog were not worthy of a card my dog was clearly not an important factor. I made a compliant to which I received a pretty standard reply still no card arrived which you thought may have prompted that. Awful service no compassion what so ever, more worried about Β£227.50!!! Over my dogs life and the grief I was experiencing at the time. My advice avoid at all costs.

My Madison has been extremely unwell recently and we are ongoing with her treatment at Downland vets. She was registered with them when we first got her as a puppy (photo below) and 10 years later she is still with them. This is due to the compassion, care and understanding the staff at all practices demonstrate all the while remaining totally professional in the various consultations we have had over the years. I would definitely recommend Downland to anyone looking for a friendly, patient and very competent vet practice. Thank you for everything Downland!

My dog received an eye problem teatime on Wednesday which worsened quite rapidly. I rang the vets just before 8 o clock and was told to take her straight down. Ana was the vet on duty and she was amazing. My poor dog was very stressed as she was in pain, and Ana was very patient with her along with the nurse on duty. She handled my dog, and me, with compassion and took time to try and calm her down before doing what was needed. We were there until about 8.30pm. I would recommend this practice to anyone. All the staff have been very friendly and helpful each time i have been there. Thank you very much.

The vets and supporting staff are always welcoming, supportive and caring. It’s never difficult to get in for an appointment if something urgent arises. That is a huge help when one of my fur girls are in trouble.

I have been going to Downland for a few years, visiting both Bordon and Emsworth branches. They are absolutely fantastic with my animals. One of my dogs gets very stressed when having his nails cut, but they treat him beautifully and manage to keep him calm, which is not at all easy. I am very impressed with the treatment my cats and dogs receive, and the staff are always polite and accommodating.

Booking the appointment left me annoyed as the receptionist wouldn't listen to me for a annual booster for our cat, insisting that it hadn't been a year yet ( 19 days early ) as the cat holiday home wanted an up to date vaccination history, after the appointment the vet said it was okay 3 months either way of the annual check up date, also on the day of the vaccination the receptionist looked bored and uninterested in our visit just spoke when i asked why Β£74 and commented prescriptions have all gone up. So, not a pleasant visit and not a caring bone in her body...
