   Poor customer service today. A lady was waiting 10 minutes to be served at the only non-pharmacy checkout at the front of the store. The product she wanted to buy wasn't on the shelf so the member of staff had gone out the back to try and find one. Which would be fine apart from she didn't get anyone else to cover on till in the meantime. So a queue developed waiting up to 10 minutes. When the lady member of staff eventually came back (her name was Julie) she said that certain products are kept out the back because they tend to get stolen. Does she not think that leaving the front till unattended for 10 minutes will also cause more items to get stolen?! Not to mention the fact a long queue had developed with nobody else to serve them. Very poor.

   Just tried to pick up a prescription at 1pm to be told they would be unable to provide this as the Pharmacist was on their lunch break. Pathetic - Boots is hardly a small independent and I'd expect them to provide adequate cover for these situations and to understand the importance of being able to pick up medication in a predictable and timely manner. It's worth noting that this hour break in service is not mentioned on Boots Havant store website. Pharmacy opening hours are stated as 09:30 - 17:30.

   This is a reasonable Boots store. It doesn't stock every option for items but you can certainly pick up a range of items. The staff are pleasant and helpful and it is located on the main street through the town so easily accessible from the main car parks and the retail park/Tesco nearby.

   Genuinely best customer service I have ever experienced. It's Christmas eve and I went to buy my girlfriend a last minute present (Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium 30ml £56). Unfortunately they didn't have that size left so I opted to get the 50ml for £78. The lady who served me was incredibly friendly, but it was her colleague who overheard me asking for it and quickly ran off to find a gift set of the same perfume, same size, same price, but with extras included. She made it back with the gift set before I made my purchase and showed me what else I could get for essentially free. I bought the gift set, and as an extra bonus she went to find a gift box for me. She even went as far as putting it together and tying the bow. Both ladies that served me were incredibly nice and wished me a happy Christmas as I left. Felt very happy with my purchase and experience.
