I had first class treatment from all the team at Bognor. Nick The vet was exceptional, making every effort to improve my cat’s poorly state with great success. The reception staff and nurses were all equally pleasant and helpful. I shall return and thank you for your hard work. Truly appreciated.
I rushed my cat into the vets today due to her being unresponsive the staff was quick and efficient unfortunately she passed before we got there but the staff was very supportive and even gave my a paw print and a some of her hair I left with out saying thank you to the staff due to being utterly heart broken so I just want to say a massive thank you
I cannot fully express how truly exceptional the veterinary clinicians were during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. When our beloved 16-year-old dog suffered a sudden cardiovascular emergency and ultimately had to be euthanized, the entire team demonstrated a level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion that went far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member treated both our dog and us with the utmost care and sensitivity. They were incredibly patient and supportive, guiding us through an unbearable situation with kindness and respect. As devastated owners, we were met with genuine compassion at every step — they never rushed us, always made space for our emotions, and treated our dog with dignity and love until the very end. In such a painful and vulnerable time, their warmth and dedication meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful for the care, comfort, and understanding they provided. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything you did for our dog and for us in our time of need.
Recently joint with my 2 cats. One of them is ill and the vets have been very kind and helpful. I call almost everyday to get advice regarding my cat and everyone is very nice to us and attentive.
Excellent professional friendly communication both on the phone and in the surgery, my concerns about my dog were listened to. The vet was reassuring, examined my dog and had a lovely manner with her. Findings and treatment were well explained. Thankyou to Downland vets.

Came in as my cat wasn’t well. We have four cats under the same account. One needed to still be paid for via the other owner of the cat. We spoke to them about this at the reception desk aswell as on Tuesday the other owner going into the practice and talking to them about making the payment asap once she has been paid. We decided to have a talk about using our insurance and decided to pay upfront just incase if the cat worsens. When we received the bill we were shocked! £367 for a check up and medication. There was a date that was wrong on the bill so we went in to question this to be told “we charge per pill not the pack” to then find out we’ve actually been charged for the outstanding balance. We were not made aware of this as we spoken to them when questioned about the payment on arrival. Not happy is an understatement! To be lied too and being sneaky just to get money. To top it off they have put our pet name down for today but not the name for the other payment.
Brought my dog here after he got an injury, the whole experience was great! I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone when booking the emergency appointment and she really comforted me. The vet and nurse were both great with my dog who is incredibly nervous at the vets. It made the whole process much easier for both me and my dog. Finally, after our consultation, we finished up at reception where staff were polite, efficient and helpful. I've been coming to downlands vets for a very long time (over 10 years!) and always feel they do a great job.
