    Reducing waste collection points in no way reduces waste - it DOES reduce convenience and customer satisfaction. People have the same amount of waste no matter how awkward you make your facilities. Seems like cost cutting to me and after 2 unsuccessful attempts to find the illusive (and far away) collection point, I gave up and left it by another bin. A real inconvenience and clearly not a system that works. WiFi is weak and doesn't reach across the site. The big dog field is, however, a fantastic asset.

    Nice CAMC Site. All the amenities were clean and very well maintained. Some great walks off site with Wickham less than 3 miles off road walking distance part of which is along a disused railway track.

    Staff are lovely and friendly. We could choose our pitch. The pitch was of good size. All though it was school holidays, the site was quiet. The facilities were very clean. We will return to this site

    Overall not a bad site but with some issues… The staff are very friendly and helpful. However my issue is the sanitary blocks are cleaned at midday and when I used them at 7am the next day two of the four cubicles were very soiled perhaps an evening check would help as this issue also seems to happen at other club sites. The wi-fi is pretty much non existent (we missed some important messages) The club should deal with this. The site is well laid out and looked after but is very remote with no shops restaurant or pubs within a reasonable walking distance. Some of these issues could easily be addressed by ‘The club’

    This is a C&MH Club site, but non-members can also stop. The site is well kept and has a good mixture of hard standings and grass pitches. There is also an area specifically for tents. The site is dog friendly friendly, with areas to walk fido. A children's play area is also located here. There are 2 well-kept toilet and shower blocks. The site is conveniently located for cross Channel and Isle of Wight ferries and has an area for late arrivals and early departures.

    Fantastic!!!! Great spacious site with good-sized pitches with plenty of space in between each one. Facilities were well maintained and lovely & clean. Plenty of attention to detail here with some great little touches around the site itself, including a very well stocked shop, dedicated kids' park, and dog exercise field. Different evenings offered different food vendors on site, which was a nice touch. Plus, entry onto Rookesbury Estate Woods right from the site where you could walk to local village and/or local pubs. ALL the wardens were super friendly, very helpful, and always happy!! Would definitely return!! Highly recommended.

    What a great campsite, pitches, facilities and location in the forest are perfect. We wild camped with a tent, great price with the amenities, such as, toilets, showers, washrooms, laundrette, etc all very clean and plentiful. Peaceful place, loads of wildlife, forest walks and close to the coast. Highly recommend.

    This is a really lovely site. One of the best! All the wardens super friendly and helpful. Reception is stocked up with food essentials and ice lollies. A must while we were there for 6 nights with temperatures in the 30's! Good pitch sizes and space between, excellent dog exercise field, where Barney met lots of new friends and ran his little socks off. Shower blocks up to usual club high standards, never crowded. Food vendors on site most nights. All in all fantastic stay, will be back!
