“Staff are lovely and friendly. We could choose our pitch. The pitch was of good size. All though it was school holidays, the site was quiet. The facilities were very clean. We will return to this site”

“Different through the seasons. The lower Meon is very obviously affected by the aquifer levels, possibly by highway runoff and extraction in the upper reaches, especially notable this year. The water was running rampant and discoloured on the day of my visit. Walked along the railway and it was flooded over a foot deep at the old station branch line point. The first time I’ve ever seen this.”

“The Paw Paddock at Fareham is absolutely great! Very well maintained and looked after. My mums greyhound was able to safely run about with no worry of escape or harm. Lovely big field.”

“One of our favourite place to go, you got the beautiful beach and big green field right next the playground which is perfect for picnic.”

“A useful car park to access Cams Lake and exploring the upper reaches of Fareham Lake. It has no height restriction so useable with roof rack. Launching and recovery of kayaks and boards should be restricted to more than 2m of tide as the mud flats are a bird feeding area.”

“Well maintained, good for families, dog walkers, sports. There's a playground, skate park, outdoor gym, bowls, tennis courts and multiple walk routes. Parking is free for a short time, it closes when the Leisure Centre which shares the grounds closes.”

“Popped in for a flying lunch whilst we waited for our car to be recovered! Service was great start to finish from the young girl who served us (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) and the food was great! Lovely and hot well presented and very tasty. The standard was a lot higher than I had expected from the chain! Will 100% be coming back! Many thanks”

“I found myself let down with an order for funeral flowers and so I reached out to Moonstone Florists. They went above and beyond to make sure we found replacement flowers on time. The flowers were beautiful but it is the customer service and kindness that would make me go back to moonstone, although I hope that I won’t have to go back for funeral flowers anytime soon.”

“What can I say about these guys? Absolutely above and beyond when something went wrong. I purchased some batteries, inverter, cerbo, and buzzbar for a new project I started. They listened to my needs and designed the system and sold it to me for a good price. They were knowledgeable in installing but I installed it myself. Fast forward 5 weeks and the system was working perfectly. So good that I went in to purchase a better cabinet to hold my pylontech batteries. It was only then that they realised they had sold me batteries that were not suitable for a mobile use which I had told them about when I bought. They owned the problem instead of hiding, and they replaced them for me and only charged the difference. Absolutely top draw stuff from them. I will certainly be back and I'm telling everyone I can. “Excellent salesman who did not press us for decision, explained options and lead us to each of the 5 choices of mattress the ‘diagnostic bed’ had identified. We opted for number 2 and thus far it has been an excellent choice.”

“What great service.....dead battery so new one required. With a 4.5hr journey ahead of us, Halfords got us in straight away. Tested the battery and fitted us a new one all within 1 hour. So grateful to the staff at least we can travel home with peace of mind. Very efficient service and lovely friendly staff”

“Absolutely the best afternoon tea we’ve ever had. We also had some tempura prawns and calamari and we couldn’t believe how fresh and delicious it was. It is a bit pricey but in my opinion it is worth every penny. One afternoon tea is enough for two people then you can get a couple of bits on the side, which we did. Since going there last week we’ve been again as we still can’t believe how delicious it was.”

“Just had the Texas BBQ pizza at Domino's and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were spot-on, the toppings were generous, and the crust was perfectly cooked. Honestly, one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Highly recommend giving it a try!”

“We have not long been at Kiddi Caru Park Gate, but since even just enquiring, Kath and her team haven’t been able to do enough to help me. My eldest has settled in so well to preschool and is thriving. My littlest one starts in the baby room next month and they are giving lots of time to get him settled and I feel far more relaxed about him starting than I did when my other two started at a different nursery. My eldest has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I feel he’s going to be so ready for school. The app to communicate with staff is so easy and they are great at getting back to you quickly to any enquiries. So far I can’t fault them, they have been so reassuring and helpful.”

All of the teachers are extremely supportive and encouraging and nothing is too much trouble. “I have an awkward ford focus... Online it said it X headlamp would fit so I ordered online and collected.. service was quick fast and easy... Yet the nightmare happened for me the headlamp didn't seem right... I took it back and Hayden sorted a refund. He had a look on the system but couldn't find the correct headlight. He didn't give up though he searched through everything and he found the right one. Confident with his help he ordered it and told me to come back 3 hours later. I did picked it up and it's the right one. Without Hayden helping me I would have been stuck. Make sure you ask for him when you pop by.”
