I hired Matthew to come fix my handrail on my stairs that had come dislodged from the wall. Despite the blunt emails I received we proceeded to schedule a day for the work to be carried out at 9am. At 9.40 he emailed to let me know that unfortunately his child care has let him down. I absolutely believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to make another appointment for a weeks time at again 9am…. And he never shows up. I confirmed the appointment the day before and after various emails and radio silence, I can only assume that his plan is to ghost me. I took two days off work to try get this sorted and I understand that there are extraneous circumstances that are often beyond our control but if he could have at least emailed me to say he is no longer interested in coming to help us I would have been really grateful for his honesty. Great shame
I'm so pleased to have found Matthew - he was really responsive and sorted out some tasks we'd been putting off for months. Would highly recommend and will be contacting him whenever we need anything else
Fixed my kitchen cupboard doors perfectly after the original fitter used the wrong screws. Very thorough and methodical and checks everything out before he starts
