I met a very friendly couple when I visited. they gave me some suggestions/advice on what I could do with two rings I had that needed work. And remember, don't lick your fingers.
took a watch to have the battery replaced the man refused to do it as he wasn’t sure it was the correct battery despite me cross referencing and it being the same battery as was in the watch clearly doesn’t know much about his trade ignorant and unhelpful

My husbands watch had been over tightened and couldn't get back off, went to Tipson in fratton tesco who were going to charge £22 just for battery change but then went to goulds in north end. The staff were brilliant and the guy persiviered and after 20 mins did it and only charged £5.00 go to goulds couldn't recommend them more.
Very friendly service. Just needed a battery for a watch that had been sat in a drawer for a number of years. The battery was replaced, they even greased the winder and cleaned the inner glass. All for the price of the battery. Thank you.
