After reading all the excellent reviews, decided to take my engagement ring which was extremely thin into James Jewellers with my late mother's wedding band. They melted this down and built up my engagement ring - what a beautiful job they did. I am thrilled! Thank you so much. Can't seem to write a new review so will add to my previous one! I can't recommend James Jewellers enough we have just picked up my late Mother's wedding ring and my Partner's Fathers signet ring both resized for our up coming wedding. Excellent knowledge and service can't thank them enough both rings look brand new. We are delighted to be wearing their rings on our special day.
I took 2 rings to James Jewellers, one was an opal ring which needed a complicated repair and the other needed upsizing. They did a marvellous job on both and I am delighted with the end result. Reasonably priced too, would definitely recommend.

James Jewellers give very sound advice, provide a high standard of workmanship and are always courteous and polite. We have used them numerous times over the years and they always go out of their way to provide excellent customer service - for example we had an old clock that had been in our family and had stopped working. It was fully repaired and Nigel delivered it personally to our house so that it could be set up in the position where it would stand. It now works perfectly and hearing the chimes again is wonderful, it was not a high value piece, but it is full of sentimental value to us. Prices are always fair and good value. We can't recommend this business highly enough.
