It took over a week to confirm my (fully paid upfront) booking after repeatedly asking for confirmation. In contrast, it took mere minutes for them to say my booking was fully non-refundable when I needed to cancel due to a family emergency, with 2 weeks notice. No effort was made to try and recover any part of the cost (for example by re-advertising at a discount) until I pressed really hard, by which time it was too late to realistically expect any interest. Basically happy to short change us out of more than Β£700 while keeping the property vacant. I am just one disgruntled customer among others apparently satisfied, but I wouldn't recommend booking with this agent if you anticipate needing any flexibility or help.

Just returned from a week family holiday at 3 Hilton Terrace in Gurnard, through the Wight holiday company. The booking process was easy, communication prior to our holiday was very good, Sara answered any questions we had very quickly. The accommodation was perfect, fantastic location, very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival the added gesture of coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the fridge was very welcome and a pleasant surprise. I would recommend the Wight holiday company to anyone and 3 Hilton Terrace is a little gem of a property. Will certainly be using them again in the future. Thank you.

Really friendly and efficient booking process: Saraβs recommendation was spot on and she was excellent at communicating via email. Stayed in a lovely house (Fleming house) in Cowes which was in a perfect location for our young family. Only thing which would have made it better would be a welcome pack and more than two toilet rolls for the weeks stay! Prices were more reasonable than other companies and would definitely be booking through this company again.

We booked our accommodation in Sandown through The Wight Company in May 2018. We were impressed with the initial communication whilst looking to book the property, with all queries answered quickly. Sara also booked the ferry for us, which worked out much cheaper than if we'd booked it ourselves. The accommodation we stayed in (The Jetty) was just perfect- spotlessly clean, fresh bed linen, excellent pillows and duvets, well equipped kitchen and a wonderful hot tub. During our stay we had an issue with the washing machine, an engineer was sent out on the same day to fix it and when it happened the following day- the machine was replaced. Sara kept us updated throughout and reassure us that she would be present when the engineer visited the property. The accommodation had a very comprehensive folder compiled by the owners containing operating instructions for all appliances etc. The Wight Company had also provided a folder with really useful information about The Island, the property, beaches, places of interest and places to eat- fantastic! Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Wight Company to anyone looking for accommodation on Isle of Wight & we would also recommend The Jetty.

Really friendly staff and offer a great service. If you are unsure what part of the Island to stay, they will help you choose the best area for your needs. We looked at a few of their properties and were unsure of the layouts and if they would work for our party, we asked and they gave a good and in depth description of the properties to help us choose the right house. So pleased they took the time with us as the house picked was perfect for us. We booked ferry travel with the The Wight Holiday Company, wow that saved us some money, we had 3 cars and their rates were so much cheaper when booked with their holiday accommodations. They are happy to recommend places to eat and visit whilst on the Island, their website also has good information for beaches, attractions and local produce shops. We will definitely be staying with The Wight Holiday Company again.
