   Woodpecker lodge is a hidden gem. Nestled among tall trees up a winding drive, it's little hideaway. The cottage is warm and cosy which for us was just what we needed after getting caught in the rain twice. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

   It has to be extra special for me to give it 5*. It's attached to the owners property. They gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything to make our stay the best we could have. There is plenty of room to park 2 large 4x4's, with lots of room to turn around. The place is in a very quiet stop, surrounded with garden and trees. Large patio area which is fenced off. There is a patio table and chairs. Also there is a Bar- B- Que. The kitchen area is well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs, etc. Lounge area has a great view though the 2 sets of double patio type doors. Beds are comfortable. Very good showers.
