   Have just come back from a short break in this beautiful cottage with our four-legged friend. Communication with Simon was great from start to finish, nothing appeared to be too much trouble for him. Well appointed cottage, with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. As a new EV driver, having a charging point was an added bonus! Great position close to town and beachfront - and excellent for getting your steps in during each day! Ventnor is an ideal base for exploring other parts of the island, and we would certainly not hesitate in recommending India Cottage to friends and family. Will hopefully return again one day.

   India Cottage was delightful and very well placed to enjoy Ventnor on foot. Parking and EV charger a real bonus. With cottagy quirkiness it is superbly equipped. Steep steps to top terrace (very steep- the older of our two dog didn't approve!) but great views over the sea and town from the top. Really lovely place.

   Just returned from a fantastic stay at India Cottage. The cottage is beautiful with loads of character and absolutely everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Simon was an excellent communicator throughout and also provided lots of helpful ideas along the way. We absolutely loved the terraces and the views are amazing. The parking space is very useful and all the shops and restaurants are a couple of minutes away. The beach and esplanade are under ten minutes walk as well. This is a fantastic cottage and Simon is an excellent host. Highly recommended!

   We had a lovely stay at India Cottage. Ventnor is a great town with a nice beach and fabulous restaurants. There are lots of great local walks straight from the cottage and it’s ideally placed for travelling around the island. Simon has thought of everything you could need, the grassed area for the dog was appreciated and the welcome basket and guide book were great touches and very appreciated too. It was our first time on the island and we’ll definitely be back, we’d love to see it in the summertime.

   Fantastic , comfortable cosy cottage. You have everything you need and more. The location is excellent and the views from the top deck of the cottage are stunning. The welcome pack is above and beyond and Simon is a great host, makes sure you know everything when booking, arriving , during your stay and when you are departing, very courteous and friendly. Our two dogs loved the top garden where it was cool for them to chill. We had an amazing 10 day break at India cottage.

   We had a fabulous few days at India Cottage. Simon was excellent with his communication both before and during the holiday. He was very helpful with the travel info and also local info too. The house was so well appointed I would struggle to think of a single thing that could improve the house. It is really close to the town centre, even closer than it looks on the map but you don't get all the noise and traffic. I would definitely stay here again as Ventnor was just perfect for our family.

   We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. The terrace was used every evening for drinks whilst we enjoyed the stunning views! Ventnor is a perfect location with everything you need within a 5 minute walk from the cottage - fantastic places to eat, shops, cafes and beach not to mention scenic dog walks! the cottage is well equipped including thoughtful treats for dog and a welcome basket. Simon is a wonderful host and provides all the information and recommendations you need for your holiday. Would highly recommend a stay here!

   We had a great week at India Cottage which we chose mainly for its location and because it welcomes dogs. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. Outside area is a plus with table and chairs and sun loungers although the steps are quite steep up to the top deck so take care if you’ve had a few drinks! Parking is also a major bonus. Host Simon is very attentive sending lots of useful information and making sure there are no problems, he genuinely wants his guests to enjoy their stay. This was our first time on the Isle of Wight and overall we really enjoyed our week staying at India Cottage.

   India Cottage was a great place for our Staycation. In fact when the sun was out , sitting on the top terrace I felt I could of been in the Med . The views from the terrace are beautiful. In fact we spent much of our time sitting up on the roof. The cottage itself was well equipped and well thought out. The cottage is well placed for shops / cafes / bars and the sea. We walked along to the Botanical Gardens / Bonchurch / Shanklin and Steepcliff Cove along the coastal path , which is well signposted. We enjoyed our stay in Ventnor and Indian Cottage . We would love to return for longer next time, and bring our bicycles to finish the red squirrel trail.
