Never been to this paddock as so busy here, but as a last minute booking noticed a free slot for the next day. Paddock has wonderful views of Portsmouth and the coast, but to my disappointment was the state of the ground full of flints some very sharp just waiting to slice dogs feet/pads. So sadly I won't be being dogs here again for fear of a trip to the vets.

Superb location. Very large and plenty of room to run around. Nice large shelter in case it rains. When we arrived the previous occupier had parked outside and not in the entrance cage. There was quite a bit of poo not picked up and there were also a couple of drinks bottle tops discarded.

We love the Paw paddocks! Me and my gorgeous staffy Storm visit them weekly and we go to many different ones depending on availability. All paw paddocks that we’ve been to have been great. All are familiar layout and easy to navigate. Storm loves her agility training and loves chasing around her rubber piggy. There’s always a bowl with fresh water and poo bags available. The places are all looked after and everyone is quite respectful and cleans up after themselves. 10/10!

We love Paw Paddock. Only have to tell our girls we're going to the Paddock and they go bonkers with excitement. We've used Fareham, Upham and Portsdown Hill and find them all well looked after.

Paw Paddocks are a fantastic idea and I love freedom with my dog. However Portsdown hill paddock I booked for an hour and my first visit to this one. I was extremely disappointed to find almost the entire area is covered in extremely sharp flint. Within 10 mins my dog damaged his paw quite badly and had to leave to attend his wound. I don't recommend this paddock for this reason.

It's such a shame people do not pick up their dog's pooh. The photo attached is one I took on Wednesday - how lazy can you be? There was yet again pooh on the paths and in the grass. This was after the previous large amount everywhere had obviously been picked up. I met your maintenance man as I was leaving and I had a chat with him and pointed out the bags. My friend has seen cars at the gates in the dark with dogs running around on their own so how can you see where they pooh? I can't see how you can overcome that. On arrival on Wednesday the occupants of the two cars parked were strolling slowly back and were obviously going to be late out - this despite your timely reminder about timekeeping recently. I love the format, layout of equipment and provision of water, bags and bins. The gate system is excellent. My dogs love it. It's just a shame a few spoil it for the majority.

Lovely paddock, easy access. Grass area a bit stoney in parts which was interesting for our puppy! There are still quite a few people obviously not clearing up after their dogs which is such a shame as it spoils it for everyone else.

Absolutely loved visiting our local Paw Paddock! Our little pooch gets bad travel sickness so having this field less than 10 minutes away is perfect. The entrance is easily accessible and everything is clearly marked on what to do. The bins were practically empty and although we brought our own waste bags it was reassuring knowing there was a supply there too. The field itself was clean and well kept, added bonus of the training equipment which our dog has never experienced but gave them a go! He was happy running around and exploring. We felt safe and secure to let him wonder and play. Took advantage of the fresh water drinking station on leaving. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

Excellent very clean. Ruby loved it as she rarely goes off lead.Have more booked with her doggie friends. Maybe a sign post along the rd is needed as we nearly drove past.

We loved this place. Our two rescue dogs need to have very secure spaces. Our Carpathian shepherd rescue is a 'Dora the Explorer, as are so many of the Romanian rescues, and we have to ensure her safety. Our 15 year old, very hairy border collie, (who came to us as a nearly bald rescue 18 months ago) is also a wanderer who loves to bounce around like a puppy, so adores this opportunity. The place is almost perfect. The only thing that would make it totally so would be if the wire was also horizontal under the path. From experience elsewhere, and in our own garden, we decided to walk the boundary with them on lead first and realise we will have to do this on each occasion as in one place the path stones had been dug away and there was a hole. The loose stones were on the far side of the fence and our dog would have wriggled out (although a big girl, she can make herself almost flat!). This may have been the work of foxes, but would have been a disaster for us if we had let them off before doing the boundary check. We wonder if there are plans to extend the wire under the path? Hoping this is helpful feedback. Kind regards, Melinda Partner and Rosemary Knox
