Lovely helpful shop with a very wide range
This shop in Wickham is a real’Aladin’s cave.II live in Wickham so use the shop a lot. I love walking around & seeing items from times gone by, that are still available here.i have on occasions asked for something I didn’t think I would find…guess what they had it. It is a pleasure to go in there, staff always very friendly, as you often have to ask.’where will I find ‘ & they find it!
A gem of a shop. They sell such a wide variety of goods you could easily spend a lot of time just looking around.
A traditional hardware shop. You can buy everything from mops to ironmongery, and several times we've found something hard to get, like s pick-up graspung thingy, and been offered a choice of three. Also great for wild bird food, good value mealworms at £30 for 2.5kg. And super dog friendly, our dog always gives straight to the counter for a treat.

I have odd sized strip lights in my garage kept getting sent the incorrect ones from online companies I popped into Hemmings they had the right size in stock and they were 1/2 the price of the ones I ordered online it’s an Aladdins cave of hardware staff are pretty helpful too I use the shop a lot now
We have visited this shop twice in the last three weeks and I would encourage anyone who appreciates good old fashioned service as opposed to the hurley burley of superstores to pay a visit. I also believe that shops such as this deserve our support as they are the last bastions of personal service, a quality which is fast disappearing from our every day lives. The shop itself is amazing. It holds a huge array of goods, all high quality and every item you purchase is unpacked in front of you and checked to ensure the goods are not damaged. The staff themselves are extremely polite and helpful and totally focused on the customer. My wife Chris and I will certainly be regular visitors, Kind regards, Bob
