daughter went and got ears pieced and the manager ashlie looked at her face as my daughter had some acne. and said “do you want me recommend you a good spot cream babe” in utter SHOCK
I had my ears pierced here (second holes) and it was such a pleasant experience. Ashlie kept me at ease, the process was quick and wasn’t painful! I love my new piercings, Ashlie did a great job!
Very unhelpful staff. In this day and age is it difficult to check their stock for availability? I wanted to buy a plushie, online it says it’s available at their store and be ready in 2 hours but I can’t get it while I’m in the store!!! What has the world come to? I find it for uncultured and out of loop
Had my ears peirced here on Monday. Both staff really nice. Lady who did the peircing was pleasant, proffesional and freindly. Nice shop to look round and was allowed to look round at my own pace with no pressure put onme which you get in alot of shops. Thank you ladies.

Do not get your ears pierced here. Poorly trained staff offered no advice just pierced and sent us on our way. Daughter had a reaction to the cheap (but expensive) mixed metal earrings that are not suitable for first piercings I have now found out. Wasn’t asked about any allergies or the fact mixed metal earrings can cause them. Then they didn’t answer the phone. Went some where else to get advice and needed to take the earrings out, daughter is distraught.
It's Claire's like you'd find anywhere really. Saccharin sweet and migraine inducing sparkliness. Go in for a £3 hair band, come out with a hair band, phone case, necklace, face mask, keyring and a Beanie Boo for £20. There's value there somewhere, but I've yet to find it really due to the inconsistent pricing of items. No parent/carer can fail to be both delighted and terrified by the telltale sparkle in the eyes followed by the inevitable "Can we go in Claire's..?".
Over stocked to point where items were falling off the shelves. Ridiculous for such a small store. If there's more than half dozen customers visiting well over crowded. Terrible to get to the point of sale as customers have no idea where the queue starts or ends. Well under staffed. The one sales assistant doing her best to cope on a busy Sunday was doing terribly well. I found out she had also been alone on the Saturday, really felt for her. The 3 stars given are for her, she was polite, calm (especially with products falling off the shelves while she was serving) and incredibly helpful. Can only suggest this store requires better management especially with regards to staff well being and stock control.
