Leave me & my weights alone. Always a pleasure, staff is fantastic, makes you feel like coming back every time. It’s at the most convenient place for me as I am few steps down the road. Absolutely bonkers!!
staff follow you around like you've done something wrong make you feel very uncomfortable when you are in the gym, Good equipment and good instructors for classes but the staff let it down, I will not be coming back,
Staff at front desk unhelpful and miserable and mostly just not bothered and unhelpful, won't explain much youve got to ask all the questions rather then explaining what the membership entails. I was speaking to a LGBTQ staff member for lewsey pool he/she was answering my questions in a condescending manner and murmured something to there also Caucasian friend and laughed so loud as soon as I walked away...it was a very uncomfortable uninviting atmosphere with strange stares and to be honest I didn't go back for membership that day.
The best gym in Luton because it is Quiet in the morning and there have two brand new gym equipment at the 1st floor and 2 floor. It is little bit smaller than better facilities than inspire sport villages and Lea manor it is outdated there are both over crowded.
I've been a member for 3 years and it's appeal has declined in that time. There's too many kids in there, meaning it's difficult to get a turn on equipment. It is a bit like a youth club, as another member has said. Teenagers bouncing around having a laugh. It's great to see people having fun, but older people would be put off. Staff are very friendly though, I can't fault them. Annual membership is expensive, and not good value for money. It seems to be shut at every opportunity: public holidays or near to a public holiday, pm times on weekends. There's Women only sessions twice a week, which is totally ridiculous as there's never more than a couple of women there, but barrs men from Wednesday afternoon and Friday evening....another contribution to the poor value for money.
After nearly a two year closure (for repairs), the swimming pool has now re-opened. The changing rooms have been re-furbished, but everything else is the same. The pool temperature is comfortably warm, but showers could be warmer and stay on longer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Too many of the lockers are faulty and unusable.
Joined this gym last week & I must say the staff at the front desk are very unwelcoming. honestly seems like they do not want to be there. Just Seeing their faces puts me off going to the gym . during the sign up nothing was explained in terms of what my membership in tails. I’m contemplating cancelling and going back to my old gym. The gym is also very small and may find out it difficult to find equipment to use especially during peak period. I must say the staff upstairs in the gym are more welcoming.
A nice place, clean and tidy and right opposite Lewsey park and grounds.
