Had my wedding here back in October and stayed over with all my friends and family. Such a beautiful house, incredible food and super friendly staff! The perfect place to celebrate your special day
We had a fantastic stay at The Highfield. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was lovely being able to sit in the lounge area and read a book. The rooms are beautifully decorated and unique. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will book again.
Truly 5 stars in every respect. An astounding, spectacular and intriguing building beautifully decorated to enliven the senses and allow you to luxuriate. The rooms are superb, as is the food. And the service was super friendly, prompt - and perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Really wonderful family Sunday lunch. The roast beef was fillet (from James White butchers) and was cooked perfectly. Gorgeous home made Yorkshire pudding and the most amazing gravy. Great wine list and Guinness and Theakston on draught. Dining room very beautiful, warm and comfortable. Some people have commented that the menu is limited but to me, that’s a very good thing. Restaurants with vast menus are unlikely to be cooking everything freshly from scratch.
I had the pleasure of staying at Highfield Hotel, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in England. As a guest, I was warmly welcomed and treated with genuine care and respect throughout my stay. A special thanks to Lindsey and the rest of the staff, who were absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was very clean, elegant, and well maintained, offering excellent comfort and value for money. The traditional British charm of the hotel made the stay even more special, creating a homely and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. I felt completely comfortable and included, and I would highly recommend Highfield Hotel to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and comfort in England.
We was looking for a quite evening and good food so went for a date night . Needless to say we got everything we wanted , background music good wine and cocktails , the new menu just changed . I had the butternut squash soup ! Amazing! my wife scallops! The mains was fillet , and the wife had Stone bass both fantastic ! Was too full for deserts! We love the house and food and grounds ! If you haven't been it's a gem for Driffield ! A must to keep class and great food with fine wine and great hospitality!
Fabulous boutique hotel with delicious food, stunning accommodation & friendly professional service. The house itself is gorgeous & sumptuously decorated throughout, with quality food & drink offerings to match the opulent setting. The cocktails are to die for!! Our room had the wow-factor & was extremely comfortable. All the Team were super friendly & helpful, making the entire visit a genuinely wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
A combined business trip with the added extra of my birthday so chose Highfield and it did not disappoint. Wonderful building with wood paneling and moulded ceilings. The rooms and furnishings were finished to a luxury standard. We ate dinner and breakfast which were both very tasty and lots of choice. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. A place I will definitely return to on my next visit to the area. Thank you
This hotel is simply amazing. We stayed in the Kingsroom which is by far the best hotel room we have stayed in, the finer details and the decor of the room is simply phenomenal. Now moving onto the food - we have dined at some of the top restaurants in East Yorkshire and this place for both dinner and breakfast is definitely in that bracket. The chef clearly has spent lots of time perfecting this menu and you can clearly tell - I also believe the menu we tried is a new menu for Autumn which was superb ( Loved the Pheasant special to start and the Fillet of Beef for Main). Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for dinner, a few nights away or an event! In addition to the above, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay/dinner/breakfast is absolutely perfect.
We went for a birthday meal. The dining room is spacious with plaster moulded ceiling, panelling, chandeliers and a fireplace in keeping with a stately manor. The service was unhurried and very professional. The food was excellent and the price is right. For a special venue in the Driffield area there is none better.
