   A friend of mine stayed here the other night and what he has told me is awful. The young couple there were rude and unprofessional and extremely noisy and constantly in and out all night drunk or under influence. Don’t agree with kitchen being locked until the staff wake up which isn’t until around 11am and then when my friend entered kitchen it was extremely dirty. My friend felt like a prisoner and ended up coming to me upset due to lack of sleep, this place needs a whole revamp of staff and then maybe it would be recommended. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who currently has no internet access and asked myself to leave feedback

   The rooms were not bad. However, certain staff were quite unprofessional so far as to where we left at 9pm as we didn't feel welcome and as if they didn't want us there, the rooms were fine however did not look like the images provided, we tried to get a mid day nap in as a result of an exhausting morning but unfortunately was woken and unable to get back to sleep by the barking of a dog inside the building which too was also roaming around as it pleased, not to mention the walls are what seems paper thin and you can hear near everything going on in the building. Overall it was quite an unpleasant experience and would take a lot of convincing and or dire circumstances to come back

   Myself and work mate booked this place on the spur of the moment and honestly wasn’t expecting much. But was pleasantly surprised by how clean , professional and helpful the lady looking after us was. Both the manager on the phone allowing us to check in earlier. And especially the lady at the hotel who couldn’t have helped enough and made us feel like we’d been there weeks already. Got our room made up and changed early so we could check in early. From arrival to leaving this morning she was always more than happy to help and especially this morning went well abound and beyond to help us with an embarrassing situation for us and risky one for her. But she showed an amazing customer service touch and a lovely genuine caring touch. Will def be staying again if the life saver Mel is there. Thank you again mel. (Leaving my wallet at home next time) xxxxx

   A small guest house, rooms are spotless, shared bathroom etc are also immaculate. Staff are so friendly it's like family, can't do enough for you. Close enough to the town center on foot, very quiet area no traffic sounds to cause disturbance.

   Not bad at all, £80 for 2 nights for 2 of us on short notice as had business in the area. The gentleman that greeted us was lovely the bed we had was comfortable and allowed for a nice nights rest. Asda, tesco and takeaways nearby for anything you need that isnt provided. Free wifi was awesome bonus, as well as tv. Room had shower gel/shampoo, tea and coffee and a kettle. Was VERY happy that the ground floor windows had protective cages over them which made me feel more secure in an unfamiliar location. Honestly overall a pleasant stay, I read some reviews and they seemed somewhat snobby what I feel people need to understand is this is a house converted into a bnb type accommodation. Only 2 things I have slight issue with are 1: the toilet door has been shaved too much off the top leaving a 1.5cm gap same with the bottom of the rooms door (cm) we had feeling like it was less private due to noise escape (room 6) the rest all looked fine as I passed them though. 2: was a little hard to find (there was a van parked right in front of it for us though) Overall lovely and accommodating especially for the price, comfortable and clean. If I have business in the area in future I'll definitely use again
