   Beautifully clean and bright . The room was a good size with fresh milk and water in the fridge . We didn't have an en suite but the big bathroom was just across the landing ,large shower and even a chase longue. Becky was a lovely host , friendly and chatty. The breakfast was really good with nice little touches . I would definitely recommend this homely b&b .

   Very comfortable. Becky couldn't do enough for us. Would certainly recommend. Try the cafe,it has the most delicious cakes a lovely olde worlde tea shop. The couple who have this now are nothing to do with the Four in a bed. It was televised long before they owned it!!

   Becky was a good host. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked for you. I would liked to have had carpet on the floor. We had 2 tiny dogs who slept in their own beds never made a mess, nothing was provided for them but was charged £20 for extra cleaning ??

   My husband and I spent a most lovely night at Lily's Pad , yesterday. We were greeted by our friendly host , Becky, and shown to our lovely room (Camomile)and our own private bathroom. Both slept like logs and enjoyed a delicious English breakfast this morning. We shall definitely be staying here again in future while visiting relatives nearby. Very reasonable price and would recommend to others. If you have a mobility issue you may wish to stay elsewhere as there are a lot of stairs and different levels to this old coach house.

   On arrival at Lilly's Pad, Mark was there to greet us with his warm engaging smile and sense of humour! He and Becky couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms we stayed in during our visits were 'Jasmine' and 'Lady Grey'. They were just delightful and reminiscent of a bygone age. The home cooked breakfasts which we had in the light and airy tearoom were just delicious....as were the jacket potatoes and cakes lovingly made by Becky. Having sampled other B & B's in the area, Lilly's Pad has become our firm favourite, and we would always try there first for availability. Also highly recommended, is a visit to the quaint little Ice Cream Parlour/Sweet Shop which is the first thing seen as one enters this wonderful old building steeped in history. 'Cherry Bakewell' and 'Lemon Crunch' are def flavours to sample as totally yummy! It was also handy being able to buy a box of chocolates there for a gift....everything we needed really under one roof. Thank you Mark and Becky for being so special! X

   The rooms are gorgeous. The food is incredible. The coffee is outstanding. But it is nothing compared to the couple who run it. What absolutely wonderful people. They are so happy and always on hand for anything. Made my family feel so welcome and we cannot wait to go back. This will be the only place we will ever stay at in the area now. If anyone ever gets the chance to stay there. Please do!!
