   Here we have a family run business, pool is always warm, never a issue getting in which is the main problem I have finding a pool that's not cold! Im not a strong swimmer so was looking for something I could practice in that's not to deep if I need to stop. This pool is perfect for this. Evening adults swim is what we use. Caroline the Owner made us feel welcome.

   I have been taking my 5 month old here since he was about 3 months old. The pool is perfect for baby classes, nice and warm and the instructor is amazing. It’s very relaxed and welcoming which is as exactly what I wanted (always a bit nerve racking when you’re trying new things with a baby!) classes are not too big either! They provide lots of info and instructions before you go which is so useful too so you know exactly what you’re doing and how it works! I look forward to our class every week and would recommend Hartwell to anyone wanting to give baby swimming a go!

   After our first visit today with my 14 month child. I’ll have to say that this area is not suitable for infants. There is no changing rooms (only little tents right next to the pool which are extremely uncomfortable and small - which means you cannot go together with your child) , i had to get my little changed for the pool right on the floor with a little mat they provided, however it was completely uncomfortable for my little one. There is no lockers , no proper seating area, showers does not have adjustable height or water temperature (shower area is also used as female changing room) as a male i didn’t have any option to take a proper shower with my little one after the pool…. Temperature in the room was not suitable for infants, and this is due to the fact that pool entrance is directly from outside with no partition walls or any corridors to prevent wind & cold coming directly in to the pool area… staff were friendly and welcoming but that was the only good thing about this place. I made a booking for 2 sessions (it did not have option for one session only) but i won’t be coming back. Edit: as you can see there is a reply saying to contact them for a refund. After sending them all my details , no one has ever replied or refunded my money.

   So glad this pool is available! My daughter has been going here for the last 6 months and she is only 8 months old! They have helped her get used to water in such a nice little pool!

   Lovely pool, always warm and clean. We love coming here and my baby daughter is getting really confident in the water. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Lots of great toys and resources for the kids too. And I love the fluffy bath mats to stand on when you’re getting changed!
