    Took my petrol mower with a pull cord retraction issue to be fixed, which he did no problem. I was then informed the mower would not start and that it required a new carburettor costing £200 plus labour. I said not worth it and took the mower home. I am not a mower mechanic but I thought I would have ago myself. It took me 25 minutes to drop the carb off and remove the float bowl which had a build up of crud preventing the float operating. Quick clean out and blast through with the airline and it started on the first pull.
