Our barn was small and not very comfy to sleep in but the fishing was excellent, my Dad had the best time.

Great little site just off the A52, with a range of caravans, lodges, camping pods and a variety of one off 'huts'. A great place to stay to explore the Lincolnshire Coast, but in a much more picturesque and quiet location than many of the beachfront sites locally. The site is- as advertised - unmanned, with no shop, food, park etc which is either a boon or a bust depending on what you're after. I do think it led to a quieter experience all round, and liked that there was no faffing to collect/hand back keys, but also took us a lap or two on arrival to locate the two individual showers as was looking for a larger, typical shower block and there didn't appear to be a map of the site anywhere. We stayed in the 'Hive' which was great for 2 of us, and a luxurious step up from camping and we'll fitted with little comforts, including an in-built loo. However, I do wonder if it would be a little cramped/hot if you tried to stay with the 4 person occupancy it says it stretches to!

Beautiful venue. Peaceful little place with lodges and caravans. The fishing lakes are well stocked and right on top of the accommodation. We stayed midweek in the school holidays and hardly heard a noise. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space including a large outdoor patio area. We will definitely be coming back.

We have just had a very last minute 4 night break at this fabulous, peaceful, getaway from it all location. Fishing on your door step, for those that do. Bird watching from your veranda, being bamboozled by a species or two ! Easy parking, for that heavy fishing gear ! A nice ramp up the side of the lodge into your kitchen dinning area, clean, tidy and spacious, awesome ! Front room is ideal. Big windows and opening double doors for a nice cross draught. Nice comfy double bed,two singles next door. Nice big bathroom with a good size shower. The entire site is tidy and litter free. The fishing was impacted by the very hot weather, yet I still managed to catch several carp to 7lb+ and a net full of fin perfect small stuff, including some lovely buttery gold rudd. The local CooP is really expensive, so take as much as you can with you. The Bricklayers Arms,,wow,,,good food, good beer and really well priced, wgats more, food is available all day ! Skegness is 40mins away for those who want that seaside experience ! Thank you, thank you to Lakeview Lodges and especially Rachel for making it possible.

Beautiful, well-kept, loved lodges. We have stayed 3 times and will definitely be returning. The area is so quiet. Fishing is excellent, a fish on nearly every cast. The welcome pack is delicious. The lodge has everything you could need for your stay. Powerful shower, washing machine, iron, wifi, etc. Fishing is in front of the lodges, but we have moved around the lakes. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

The lodge is amazingly spacious, very clean and also lovely and warm even with pretty cold outside temperatures and mostly dull weather. Hubby has caught lots of fish in the lake right outside the lodge, though no big ones to report yet. The whole site is pleasant and very well kept. Pub within easy walking distance is a bonus.

Lovely and quiet location. No shop no pub on site bliss. More an adult site . Great views out onto the lakes. Dog friendly cabins and pubs and shop are a short walk/drive . Welcome pack left, tea, coffee and plumb loaf which was lovely and a nice touch will be coming back again. Everything you could need. Very warm never put the heating on

Just come back from a short break away here. We loved it, so peaceful and so clean!!! The lodges and grounds are so well kept. Would recommended! we were in lodge one and we both came away wanting to live in one permanently! It got so lovely and warm considering the bipolar weather, sun ,rain, hail and wind ! You couldn't tell when in the lodge. I don't fish but my partner does, he didn't have all the right stuff, slightly different fishing than he does, so maybe check better than he did, but when he did get the stuff he enjoyed a couple hours. We both said we felt relaxed and would love to stay again!
