Great service and expert repairs are rarely cheap. But these guys managed to offer expert repairs and reasonable prices.
Excellent, knowledgeable repairer. I used for battery change but would trust for mechanical repair work too.
Asked if they had any second hand rolex watches for sale, she replied "yes, but they are for connoisseurs" - didn't show me any of the rolexes so I left the shop. Utter snobbery. Very insulting, would never go back.
After paying £20.00 deposit to check my watch I was quoted £51.98 for minor repair and new battery. Thinking this excessive I declined and lost my deposit. I then took it to a watch repairer in Shropshire. He did the necessary repair replaced the battery and charged me £14.00 in total. Suggest you shop around. This charge was for exactly the same work as you quoted me for. But almost £38.00 less and he didn’t ask for a deposit.

Used these before but when I made a special journey today and found they were closed for holiday I had to take my watches elsewhere for batteries. This could have been posted to prevent wasted trips
I have had several clocks and a watch repaired, serviced, etc by the Watch Doctor. The quality of the work is first class. When I have any clocks or now watches that require repairs, servicing, etc I only think of the Watch Doctor. Why now watches? A recent death in the family has left me five requiring attention.
Not for watch repairs! ! I needed a replacement pin for the strap on my watch. They suggested it wouldn't cost much - £10 to £15. Sounded expensive to me so I went to Timpsons in Crewe where the repair was a fraction of the cost. They do have a nice selection of old clocks - but I wouldn't go to them for a repair.
