We took our boy in today after he had a seizure and we had wonderful care from Zoe - the dog and ourselves! Zoe was really great in talking through our options for the next steps, as well as reassuring us in how we were feeling. We also have super day to day care from the practice, but today made us feel extra grateful!
My wife and I have had five dogs so far, all registered at Abbey Vets, and not only have we always found everyone there so welcoming and friendly on each visit made to them, they have always treated our pets so expertly particularly our present dog, who has been having quite a few problems just lately, all of which are being handled in the most caring and professional manner.
Went for annual check up/vaccination for my cat Molly as part of healthy pet club and the vet Niamh was brilliant. Molly was really happy there. Had her vaccination, got checked over, and checked her microchip. Really lovely friendly vet :) (photo of molly keeping cool in tumble dryer)
We have only used Abbey Vets for the last year having had a couple of kittens starting their journey with us. The team have always been fabulous. The care, the love, the bonds that are made so quickly at each visit shows the passion that everyone has for the care of our kittens. Bloody expensive you have to pay up front out your own pocket and then claim it back. A royal pain in,,,,,,$bbɓ $$$$
They gave our Staffie excellent care & we’re always there with advice whenever we needed it. Would happily recommend them to others
We have been using Abbey Vets for sometime now for our four cats, together with a number of stray cats we have assisted. We cannot fault the service and care shown to all of the cats we have taken to them for help, all of which have been shown a great amount of care and respect. The professionalism is second to none and the genuine care and attention shown is heartwarming. Abbey Vets genuinely do care for your furry friends and understand exactly what they mean to people like us, knowing that the cats and other animals are more than just pets, they are a part of your family.
I loved this vets and taking my max here for nearly 2 years, but few months back I had money issues and had to go on Universal Credit. As this takes 6 to 8 weeks to get paid I missed my £19.00 monthly pet plan payment. Once I had been paid I had to catch up with priority bills and I did explain this to Abbey Vet Team but they sent me horrible letters and told me due to 2 missed £19.00 payments I was no longer welcome in their establishment. Didn't make me feel like a valued client seems they care more about money than my dog so won't be returning.
Had a very good 3 weeks of puppy training/club. Very well organised and met some lovely puppy owners and their pups. Teddy enjoyed it too. Highly recommend the practise.
