I recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly restored Ashleigh Buxton in Buxton, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The self-catering hotel is set in a charming building in the heart of the historic town, and the attention to detail in the renovation is apparent from the moment you walk through the door. The interior décor is a wonderful blend of modern amenities and traditional charm, with elegant furnishings and stylish accents throughout. The self-catering apartments are spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. The staff at Ashleigh Buxton were friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The location of Ashleigh Buxton is also a major selling point. Situated in the heart of Buxton, the hotel is just a short walk from the town's shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring everything that the area has to offer. Overall, I would highly recommend Ashleigh Buxton to anyone looking for a beautifully restored self-catering hotel in Buxton. The combination of stylish accommodation, excellent service, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in this charming town.

This is a beautifully presented and extremely well equipped apartment; though we only stayed for two nights, we could have been very comfortable here for a week or more. Bed and sofa were comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful and everything was super clean. We were surprised by the provisions that were left for us, apart from the usual tea and coffee: bread, muffins, butter, jams/marmalades, fruit, eggs, milk, orange juice. We had no need to shop for anything. It is very central and so easy to walk into Buxton or to the Pavilion Arts Centre/Opera House. We will happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Just had an excellent w/e stay at the Ashleigh. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The attention to detail is above and beyond. The breakfast is delicious and so fresh. Glen and Nathan are superb b&b hosts. Highly recommend and will return. Thank you so much. Michelle

The most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed at. The decor is sublime and the hosts are so courteous and accommodating. We booked the master bedroom and we thought it was worth every penny: very spacious and full of natural light as it faces south. Everything in the room is of high quality, from the furniture to the bedding and the toiletries. The whole place smells fantastic. They serve a quality continental breakfast, rich of options to choose from, which beats any fry-up in my opinion.

To say that Ashleigh Buxton is stunning is an understatement. This is a charming and homely B&B set to the background of the gorgeous Peak District rolling hills and craggy pinnacles, and compliments the lovely "seaside-town-without-the-sea" feel of the spa town of Buxton below. We visited for a weekend at the end of May 2021 and stayed in the self-catering room underneath the main house, which was less of a room and more of a holiday flat or a suite - it even had a washing machine! The decor was so pretty and clearly very thought-out, and the mattresses were so comfortable (one of our party has a bad back and rarely gets on with sleeping anywhere bar her own bed, but reportedly 'slept like a log' here). The service was wonderful - even though we didn't book a room upstairs, the two owners - Glenn and Nathan - could not have been more friendly and accommodating, and Glenn gave me a tour of the upstairs after the other guests had left and he was cleaning it - absolutely beautiful! They had even put a stained glass window in! With the room came three complimentary slices of cake from a local bakery, which was delicious, as well as a bowl of fruit and a selection of local Yorkshire jams and preserves. The garden out the front - which we had easy access to via a bright red front door - was just coming into spring (Buxton, due to its higher altitude, is about two weeks behind the rest of the world when it comes to seasons) and all the flowers - bluebells and wild garlic - were beginning to bloom. So picturesque. As well as that, Glenn and Nathan were more than happy to show us the way down to the actual town of Buxton, which is only a short walk down the hill, and recommended various local walks, restaurants and happenings (such as the market on Saturday mornings) for us to enjoy. Also! I left my sunglasses there by accident, and Nathan contacted me as soon as he found them and let us know. Absolutely perfect stay, with B&B owners who went above and beyond. Thank you so much Nathan and Glenn!!!!!

What a fabulous find! Just outside the town centre (but still within walking distance) with plenty of parking, this privately owned B&B has been lovingly restored to its former glory. The rooms have been finished to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need (lots of sockets) and, most importantly, are spotless. The bathrooms, again spotless, have the fluffiest towels you could possibly imagine! Lovely bath and a shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is cooked and served by the owners, Glenn and Nathan, and was delicious with plenty of choice....not just your normal ‘continental’ breakfast! We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed longer......can highly recommend and we will certainly be back.
