A beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Everything we wanted from a week away walking with the dog. Hosts were lovely. Didnt want to leave.

Lovely cottage on a working farm, excellent for those who enjoy walking and lots of interesting places within easy travelling distance. Everything you need is supplied within the dog friendly property.

Absolutely lovely place, the owners were also lovely, kind and unobtrusive. Had a brilliant time, plenty of walking to be had in the vicinity. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi most evenings. Top Drawer.

Thank you Andrew and Joanne for making our visit so wonderful! My grandfather, Charles Felthouse (born 1894) grew up at Rue Hayes Farm. My husband, our daughter, baby granddaughter, and I were fortunate to visit the barn and see my great Uncle Thomas's name first hand, as he had carved it into the stonework in 1906. Onecote is a delightful village. Unfortunately so far from Australia.

Beautiful and spotless accommodation with stunning views! Very peaceful remote cottage. Lovely couple who run it. Would definitely return! :)

Rural Paradise From the first moment on arrival, I, we fell in love with this charming and wonderful cottage. The hosts were nothing short of welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We found the added touches such as the tea tray, flowers and dressing gowns to be so thoughtful and generous. They also went the extra mile to get us some shopping when we were snowed in which we greatly appreciated. The ground floor open plan living is excellent and ideal for children and dogs. The hot tub was out of this world and an enclosed spacious garden really compliments the cottage, the picturesque views are incredible. The upstairs too is spacious with very comfortable beds and a high quality finish is what you will find throughout, especially the wooden beams, comfortable leather sofas and wood burner. Additionally, it is very well equipped and the smart TV was well used during our stay. Our only grumble is that there is no back door that leads out in to the garden but it is a small sacrifice. I felt at home from the moment I arrived and this holiday will be a fond memory for a very long time. We will definitely return here in the future. We also liked the town of Leek that is about a ten minute drive away. We discovered a great place called Brough Park. It has a large car park and reasonably priced, as is everywhere you go in Leek. The park itself is fantastic for dogs and boasts a brilliant playing area for children. The town has a host of niche boutique shops and offers an indoor market which we enjoyed visiting on the Wednesday of our holiday. There's also several charity shops for those looking for a bargain and you can find at least four major supermarkets for your supplies. This has truly been a fabulous holiday, I was sad to go home and didn't want to leave. Thank you to Joanne and Andrew for providing this stunning getaway retreat. The kindest of regards, The Lincoln Family.
