   We've just spent three lovely nights at Manifold Cottage and wished we could have booked for longer....but three was the most we could get! Owned and operated personally by Patrick Skemp, you can really tell the difference. Attention to detail is excellent, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, warm and cosy, tons of hot water and a really efficient heating system. We wanted for nothing in this cottage, even Sky TV. Right next to The Devonshire Arms (but we didn't hear any noise from it at night), a great pub with hearty pub grub and bang opposite a very well stocked village shop. Good value as well, which always feels comforting and a personal welcome from the owner, which is great.....and every conceivable bit of useful information and maps for walks you might think of, in a folder, but also on laminated sheets for you to take with you. Most unexpected and really useful. And you can park right outside the cottage, great if you have to decamp in the rain. We've owned and operated holiday rental properties in Cornwall for over 20 years and so we know this is how it should be done. 10/10. Brilliant.

   Manifold Cottage Fantastic cottage located in the centre of Hartington village with lots of walks straight from the door. It has a fully equipped kitchen for a self catering holiday but there is a pub next door and a hotel in the village serving food if you want a night off. The cottage has WiFi included and Sky TV, in addition it has a separate Sky room with Sky sports if you like to watch the football on an extra large screen. Patrick the cottage owner is the perfect host who was a pleasure to deal with while booking, he also has created a number of information folders on local attractions and walks in the area for his guests. I would happily recommend Hartington Cottages and I am looking forward to visiting again soon 5⭐️

   Had a lovely stay in the cottage. Very nice n cozy over new year. Would recomend the cottages for a good break. The surounding area is stunning.
