   I can definitely say that Martha is a really good counsellor. She helped us as a couple to improve our relationship when things weren't going well. Martha worked with us both as a couple and individually, which helped us better understand ourselves and our relationship. Each session was worth it. Highly recommended.

   I cannot recommend Martha enough. She has enabled me to find inner-strength I never knew I had and has helped me to rebuild my confidence and self-worth. I was apprehensive when I first started as I had never been to counselling before and it felt very daunting to even admit I might need it. However, I had no need to worry; Martha was so reassuring and put me at ease immediately. If anyone is considering counselling and feels the same apprehension all I can say is, take the leap - it will be the start of something great!

   Martha has really helped my partner who is an ex veteran with his mental health and dealing with leaving the forces. He found that her knowledge of the military through her family and being surrounded by the military herself really broke down the barrier of him feeling that nobody understood his thoughts. Martha has created a calm setting where he felt like he could open up his feelings.

   I found Martha when I’d gone through relationship breakup, family estrangement & upsets. Martha listened to me through hours of rambling & crying & was able to help me find the way through the turmoil going round & round in my mind to brighter thoughts & understanding. She is a counsellor who understands, feels & knows that life will often throw things at you without you having the ability to deal with them.    Martha is a fantastic counsellor I have seen first hand how she works in group sessions when out on our walking groups. Martha is very professional and attentive with how she delivers therapy. I have had 121 sessions with her and without a shadow of a doubt Martha listened without judgement and was able to help me understand patterns within my life as well as help me to see different ways to deal with things. I'm would recommend Martha to anyone needing some counselling. Also knowing Martha has military background helped me to open up about myself abit more whilst in the forces, without feeling misunderstood or patronised. She completely understood what I was saying.

   I couldn’t praise Martha enough for the help she gave me during a particularly difficult time in my life. Several times I had been suicidal, it was who Martha helped me understand what was happening to me and encouraged me to move forward in my life.    I would like to thank Martha for all her help, wisdom and support. I first met Martha in the early months of 2020, she provides a caring and professional counselling service. The 1 hour sessions I had are conducted in a comfortable, safe and private environment. Previously was offered NHS counselling by my doctor which I found was too clinical, so I went on to find one privately. It felt be a daunting challenge finding someone but I was immediately put at ease and Martha gave me the time and space to open up to her. I can honestly say the counselling provided over the period of 7-8 months, family, friends and myself have seen the huge difference it’s made since seeing Martha. Thank you so much Martha.
