I can't recommend Julie enough as a therapis. She helped me navigate through depression, anxiety and past experiences with so much kindness and patience. I learned so much from her and feel like I really understand myself now. I will be forever grateful.

As a young male adult I started experiencing anxiety and the talking therapy sessions with Julie really helped, dramatically reducing my anxiety. Months on and I’m happy with a good understanding of my anxiety and how to tackle it. Plus the space was welcoming/relaxing avoiding that clinical feel of doctor’s offices. Definitely recommend.

When I started my therapy with Julie it was under the orders of my lovely wife. I really didn’t want to do it. My anxiety was getting worse and I needed to start enjoying life. My sessions with Julie provided me with a safe space in which I could express my thoughts and opinions without fear of judgement or reproach. We addressed my anxieties one by one, each time in a compassionate and understanding manner. For me Julie really was a wonderful therapist. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Julie is an amazing therapist who has shown me nothing but kindness and compassion throughout my journey with her. Her calming nature has allowed me to open up without feeling judged. She has helped me change my life and I will be forever grateful for this. I couldn’t imagine a life without anxiety before seeing Julie. I would recommend her to anyone.

When I first met Julie, I felt like a shell of a person. I had no expectations, I didn’t know if I would ever be able to have a normal life again. My life after having Julie as a therapist has been the best it’s ever been, even better than it was pre-trauma: I honestly didn’t think I’d ever be able to say that. She has helped me reform my life, and has genuinely changed my life forever. Nothing I can give can demonstrate the gratitude I feel towards her, but I can start by saying thank you Julie.

Julie has been extremely supportive during my time working with her. She creates a safe environment without judgement and has the right balance of empathy and knowledge of strategies to support her client. I would definitely recommend Julie if you’re looking for compassionate CBT.

When I started therapy I was so unsure of what to expect. Julie made me feel instantly at ease. Through her compassion and care I was able to work through and look at some of the most painful parts of my childhood and heal them. I never thought I would feel as good as I do and can't thank Julie enough. Julie has changed my life for good and I will be forever grateful. I can't recommend her enough.

If I were to compare myself now, from the beginning of this year, when I began my journey to recovery I wouldn't even be able to recognise myself. For the 2 years previous to seeing Julie, I really struggled to accept that I needed help and in fact I was scared to start therapy and thought that nobody would understand such a misunderstood disorder and thought nothing would change about me and that I would only be able to feel a little bit better. Having OCD is a challenging disorder as it can be very isolating as its ways can make you feel like nobody will understand or that you don't deserve help. However, upon meeting Julie I found it so easy to open up about all my issues I had never talked about before, seeing Julie on a weekly basis has made me feel incredibly understood and has changed me from an anxious, on edge permanently, upset mess to a happy, much less anxious and a person who no longer feels they are consumed by OCD, I feel like I can breath and live my life again. Stepping up and asking for help has been the most worthwhile thing I could have done for myself. Therapy has been incredibly challenging and you definitely need to work hard as you are facing your biggest fears consistently but the work has certainly paid off. Julie is a very down to earth, all-round lovely person who you can rely on to really care about you, I feel very lucky to have worked with her especially needing the support I have, so close to home. She goes above and beyond to help you, supporting you along the way even outside sessions. Her approach to helping you is much more compassionate and caring than your usual CBT therapist, I did not realise at times that I had a negative esteem about myself, but Julie helped me to talk to myself more positively. I will be eternally grateful for Julie and I could not recommend her enough, she is a therapist you can identify with and feel connected to, which sometimes is hard to find.

As soon as I met Julie I felt at ease. I can not recommend Julie enough. She is an amazing therapist. I’d seen other therapists but never really connected with them, but connected with Julie at my first consultation. I’ve had a troubled past which has seriously effected my well-being, leaving me with various daily struggles. Julie has changed my life, through therapy and teaching various coping strategies. She is open, honest, approachable, (funny), compassionate and very professional. I can honestly say Julie has completely changed my life and possibly saved it.
