   For the 3 of us we spent £249 for our spa treatments, didn't realise we don't get the pool facilities.. was told we would have to spend and extra £25 per person, they've moved our booking times around without warning us. And made to feel like criminals with one lady telling other employees to watch us, as if were not spending enough money here, made to feel like I'm a criminal, iv been coming here for the last 3 years .. this has been far from a relaxing time very stressful, if I had known this I'd rather spend £22.99 on spa day that includes 1 massage and pool facilities

   I came here for a spa day back in 2023 and have been harassed with a parking fine ever since. I entered my vehicle reg at the reception desk on arrival, as advised by staff. I was then issued a fine from the privately owned car parking company suggesting my details were never entered. I called the spa at the time to confirm I had gone through the correct procedure and asked for a receipt. The receptionist advised me that they were unable to obtain a receipt as the details are sent directly to the car parking company and they themselves are unable to access the database. I have repeatedly explained and appealed this to the private car parking company with evidence of my spa day but they are still issuing me with £170 fine as I cannot prove I entered my registration details into the system. I can only guess that the system lost connection as I was entering my details as I’m struggling to understand why I have been targeted with this through no fault of my own. Quite the opposite of a relaxing experience!

   My partner and I had an amazing time at Bannatyne Spa Shrewsbury. Everything felt calm, clean, and really well organised, which made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. We want to give special compliments to Danny, the Duty Manager, who was incredibly attentive, kind, and made the whole experience feel personal. We also want to mention our massage therapist, I don’t remember her name, but she was absolutely amazing and made us feel completely at ease throughout the treatment, we both had back and shoulder massages and were so good. Lunch was great too, super delicious and served with a smile. A big thank-you as well to Susie at the front desk, who was very polite and welcoming and set a lovely tone for the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for couples wanting to unwind together, we’ll definitely be back. Madalina

   I had a recent visit to this Health Spa in Shrewsbury where I was greeted warmly. The massage itself was delightful and whilst I didn't catch the Therapists name, (dark hair and a therapist for many years) overall the spa area was well maintained, inviting and visibly the staff seemed to be very polite, helpful and skilled. The facilities were clean including the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. THE LET DOWN... was the cream tea. I've had many a scone, but this didn't even deserve the name. I'm not sure if it was stale or just a really bad scone, but it was frozen cold, hard and chalky and the most unpleasant way to end the afternoon. The menu was limited and although mid afternoon, some items were unavailable and so I ended up going to nearby pub for a hearty lunch. I know... not ideal for a spa day, but that's how upset I was. I love a soft fresh warm scone cream tea. This was not it!

   I had the most amazing spa day at Bannatyne Health Club, and my therapist Sofi was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, she was absolutely lovely – warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Her technique was incredible, and she made sure I felt completely relaxed and cared for throughout the entire experience. The atmosphere was so calming, and Sofi’s professionalism and kindness truly made the day special. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend !

   I’m a new member here at Bannatynes, I have been welcomed every time I have come to the branch. Susie was amazing when I came in for the first time, nothing was to much effort for her. All the staff in the gym and the cafe are always giving a smile! Great place to be!

   Value for money is 0. I’ve been to many massage places around the world (Australia, Indonesia, Europe and many places in UK) and nowhere did the treatment time - you being shown to the room, undressed and dressed all included in the 55 minutes that you provided with and paying 65£ for. As I wrote a feedback saying my treatment didn’t feel like it was 55 minutes and got an email saying - the treatment length specified includes collection from and to the waiting area, a consultation, undress/redress (where applicable) and 'hands-on' treatment time. It’s an absolute ripoff. I suggest Shrewsbury Club where for 65£ you get hands on 60 min massage and you get undressed and dressed FREE of charge or any other small business around Shrewsbury where same 60 min hands on massage and for better price.

   We booked a two person spa day with massage at Bannatyne Shrewsbury for my sisters birthday. We went mid week (on a Wednesday). Our experience wasn't bad as the venue was clean and staff were friendly and welcoming, however it was more of a health club than spa. Even midday during the week the venue was packed - the steam room and sauna were crowded during our entire 6 hour visit. We also found that our massage was around 10 minutes shorter than agreed - as we'd only paid for one treatment each we were disappointed when they were cut short and rushed through. Our experience was fine but overall we would not come again.

   Lovely spa day. Staff were super lovely and helpful. Lucy (who’s new I believe!) was so welcoming. Lovely pool and spa area. AMAZING treatment. Best back massage I’ve ever had and gorgeous facial. Spa ladies were so lovely! Great day!

   Majorly over priced this gym is. You pay Almost £60 for a membership and I only want to use the gym and it’s tiny upstairs. My old gym was £30 cheaper and open 24/7 and has the same amount of equipment. Also normally you get a 14 days cooling off period well not here. If you apply online you get the 14 days but if you apply it in the gym you don’t get it ? Not treating everyone fairly at all. Avoid this place at all costs. Luckily im moving so they have to terminate my contract as i won’t be here
