Perfect little field for our reactive dog. Yes it's muddy - guess what, it's a field and the middle of the winter and it's been raining. A couple of holes but you get them when out and about in the woods. There was water and a couple of agility frames. Will definitely come again when we are in the area

Good size field and secure, meant my XL bully could have a bit of freedom to play. Seen a lot of complaints on here about it being too muddyβ¦ I mean itβs a field so if itβs rained then itβs gonna be muddy which just seems common sense. Only issue we had was that thereβs a pretty deep hole near the bottom of the hill that you canβt see until youβre in it, my dogs fallen in and bruised his back legs so hopefully that will be filled in soon as he has had the best time and I will be taking him back again

First the positives Secure enough and easy to get to. There's a couple of things for one of the dogs to use as a climbing frame, I mean agility toys. There's a table for the humans to rest at. Trees provide ample shade for when it's warm I didn't see any other dogs poop in there Now the negatives... There's no sandpit as per one of the replies in the other reviews The "water station" is still wrecked. I bought my own including bowl so wasn't bothered but it was still not great. On reviews they state about rolled up fencing, still there but at the side of the "water station" and my dogs ignored it. Not greatly maintained field. Grass is too long in places and it's very uneven under foot so much so that my girls wouldn't play like they do in other fields or run around. Noise from the motorway is weirdly MUCH louder than I thought it would be. It feels like it echoes. (This is not a reason to not come, I knew the motorway was close afterall) I'd prefer my car to be inside the boundary of the field so I can let my dogs straight out and get back them back in the car securely. There's no toys as advertised. Glad I brought my own. I would love to say I'll return but not until some improvement is made. This place could be an absolute gem. ----------------------------------------------- ETA; What I have noticed is that the complaints are the same pretty much over and over so the feedback isn't being listened to and that's a real shame because I would love to come back.

More than pleased with our visit today. The 'girls', 2 Jack russells loved it. They are now fast asleep. Booked for tomorrow. Loved it

Update Oct 22 Thanks for your response. Sad to see that you are unable to take on board genuine feedback. After a recent visit, we felt that this field was not fit for purpose in its current state and could not recommend. Negatives (because there were many): Full of sharp stones, rubble, bits of wood, nettles, thistles and we also saw old horse poo No fresh running water The 'field' is not grassed in places - we all came back muddy Cannot drive onto the field like other local fields (much safer for nervous dogs) It is M6 adjacent and noise is deafening Even the road leading up to, and the car park, is in poor condition More expensive than other, better, dog fields Positive: Handy for those living in town (but this really is not enough of a reason to return)

Taking the other comments into account - yes this is a new field, yes there was some stones and hay in the field and the grass needs time to grow - that said, we were thrilled to see another field within 2 miles of our house, our dogs loved it and had lots of fun, there was a bin filled with toys, exercise equipment and water was available in the bowls but weβd read the description and brought water with us as well and used it to fill up the second bowl. We really enjoyed our trip there, really happy with the facilities and will be booking again. The car park isnβt secured however the road is so quiet this wasnβt an issue for us. The condition of the road and car park is normal for any one lane country road and wasnβt an issue for us at all. There was some noise from the M6 but that didnβt bother us or the dogs at all. Really hope this does well, itβs so good to have another dog field in the area to use.

Disappointed with our visit today , I knew that it had only recently opened but I expected a lot better experience, the grounds in parts had a lot of stones, small pieces of timber as shown in photos , rolled up wire fencing due to this I spent most of my time taking these out on my dogs mouth and keeping them away from the role of fencing as they could get is paws stuck Inside . Very limited dog toys , donβt forget to bring your poo bags also as not supplied in case youβd forgotten to bring your own , the only good points are that it get them used to traffic noise with the motorway being close and the two horses close by , booking your slot was easy also . But Iβll will be sticking to my usual place
