   Should be a lot better for the cost. These rooms are poorly maintained based on the price bracket. Plug socket by kettle broken, warped bathroom door with no lock. Tepid water, with pressure of water being low. I’ve had better, hotter showers at remote campsites! Wonky loo seat, mouldy around shower, toilet didn’t flush! Noisy neighbours, we asked to be moved and reception could have cared less. Just told they were fully booked which they clearly were not!! Just generally very average, just like the breakfast! Some decals on the wall and a round door frame don’t make up for it. This is a glorified travel lodge (a less clean and convenient one). Save your money!

   Fantastic Stay and brilliant Housekeeping of our Stayover. Everything replaced, cleaned and topped up for when we got back from Walks and Park. Ignore the negative reviews, it's based outdoors and it can't be perfect all the time. A lot of customers have no idea what Housekeeping is like and they do a good job for the short amount of free work hours they have. Perfect stay for off season if you need some quiet time. We stayed in 761 8th to the 10th September. All reception staff were friendly, especially the young man on Monday behind the tills. Thanks for a good welcome and experience. :)

   Lovely themed experience however the actual lodge inside was not well maintained and a bit grubby for something this expensive! Dust had collected in all corners of the rooms, behind bathroom door and under the top bunk bed. After lifting our bed sheet up (as I could see and feel little black bits), I uncovered a dirty mattress covered in debris and stains (no mattress protector). I did ask for a mattress protector to be put on the bed as it was just a sheet over the dirty mattress, the staff were very responsive and sorted this out for us promptly, but just not pleasant to know what you are then sleeping on. There's no air con and only one tiny window, situated in the mini kids bedroom. The lodge smelt kind of musty as there's very little extraction, or circulation of fresh air. The grouting in the bathroom was mouldy, which can be really easily sorted, so again very odd it hadn't been. The kids/extra beds were too small for anyone over 5ft 6, so our teenager struggled to fit. Staff on site were lovely and the external areas appeared well looked after. The play areas were a lovely touch in the middle of each set of lodges. There was a kettle, cups and some tea and biscuits in the room which was nice. There was a floor standing fan in the room but wasnt really helping the lack of fresh/cool air.

   Got stuck inside room 773 - faulty door look! Was a bit scary - lucky there wasn’t a Fire!!! Very tired and dated interior - although the marketing makes the rooms look much nicer. I found our room dark and needed a refresh. Slept ok. And breakfast was ok. Good for big families with kids. Double beds are on the small side. Grounds are kept nice.

   We stayed here for a couple of nights. The lodges look great from the outside. There's plenty of safe playing areas for kids dotted around the place. The rooms themselves are ok, nothing special. There is a separate side 'room' with a double bunk bed and a third roll out bed from under the bunks. No phone, no safe, bad WiFi. There is a TV and a kettle but we used neither when we were there. Shower and toilet were fine, though bring your own toileteries. There is soap (which is very watery) and shampoo but nothing else. There is a long walk from here to the theme park so don't forget anything in the room! Breakfast at the crooked spoon restaurant was good. We asked for an iron one morning and it still hadn't arrived 2 hours later when we left for the theme park. Generally, the rooms feel a little dated and at over £200 a night (which doesn't include theme park entrance), you expect more.

   We going many time in February and loving the Alton tower hotels and waterpark with our 3 kids. First time we tried the enchanted village. My kids loved it first but they prefer to be inside the hotel. It’s ok the beds are not very comfortable anyway looks nice. We stayed 2 days and I give 1star less because they didn’t clean our room only put the beds together. So do not worst the money better to stay in the hotel.
