“Amazing dance school with really friendly and fun group classes for all ages and abilities - children and adults. Fantastic, professional teachers also offering private lessons and wedding dances. A real family vibe with a great social scene.”
“Sander is a uniquely gifted teacher. I attend his weekly group Zoom class through Ballet on Demand, which involves students aged 8 to 60 and everything in between! Every single student receives valuable, individual feedback every lesson and is encouraged to be the best that they can be. He achieves this with good humour, compassion and his eye for detail, which cannot be taught, on top of sharing his experience and the excellent teacher training he has received. I have also attended every one of his Summer Schools. The Blommaert Ballet School Summer School is by far the highest quality programme about, offering small class sizes to allow for plenty of feedback, always excellent faculty and intensive hours of study. It is challenging even for vocational students but everyone grows and improves over the course of just six days as a result of the environment, teaching and schedule. Any student of ballet, at any stage and with any aspirations, would be lucky to have Sander as their teacher.”
“I started going to DWS a few months ago, initially feeling shy and withdrawn while dancing with random people. However, I soon felt at home and free as Stago encouraged everyone to "just dance." Last weekend, I met up with friends I hadn't seen in months, and they commented that I had lost some weight. It was wonderful to hear, and I owe it to dancing with Stago for making this happen while having fun.”
“My daughter absolutely loves attending Little Bear Feet! Chloe is such a great teacher and she is so good with the little ones! We were so surprised how well how daughter took to the classes as she’s only 2! She has gained confidence and loves taking part! Would highly recommend Chloe May’s Dance Academy.”
“Steps Dance Academy is not just a dance school, it's like a family - the teachers are so friendly and really care. They make time to get to know each child and parents too. Over the years my daughter has developed friendships and her confidence has grown in so many ways. Thank you Steph, Beth, & everyone at the Academy.”
“my daughter has danced here since she was 2 and a half! Very welcoming school all the teachers are bubbly, understanding patient and full of life! it's a fun and safe environment for your child to learn dance. There are many opportunities and options through the dance school. The exams and awards are recognised. The results speak for themselves hard work put in by all and fabulous results. highly recommended! Easy enough to find too as it's just off the roundabout!”
“I would highly recommend Timmins Academy of Dance. My daughter started dancing there 10 years ago and continues to do the majority of their classes. The teaching is of a very high standard and this is perfectly balanced with fun, care and the creation of life long friendships - dancers and their mums! The shows are incredible, once in a lifetime opportunities are offered and memories created that will last a lifetime.”
“My daughter absolutely loves going to Chloe Mays dance academy. She is really shy and clingy so I didn’t think she would would enjoy it. I was wrong! the dance teachers are great and patient and they really helped her settle into the classes. They do bigger and smaller performances, which you are not obliged to take part in. my daughter has loved doing them and it has helped so much with her shyness and has brought her out of her shell.”
“My son joined the dance school when he was 3 and has been there ever since. It’s a wonderful school and he’s made a great set of friends too!”
“Lovely group of leaders. Communicate well. Meet our needs as a vegan family. Thank you for having us for the summer.”
“I have danced with Stourbridge dance academy from the age of 14 and grew up with excellent teaching in all subjects. I went on to achieve my associate levels in 3 subjects and since have joined adult classes to keep my fitness up. Both my girls have gone to academy and my oldest has gone on to do her dance degree and work for Disney. I cannot praise SDA enough for their professionalism and dedication to to each and every pupil. I would highly recommend SDA to anyone”
“What a fantastic dance school! Over the past 10 years all three of my children have been a part of the Halesowen Dance Academy family. My two girls doing ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, points and street dance. Taking part in shows, competitions, exams, summer schools and much more. Making firm and lasting friendships on the way. My son (who is disabled) was also able to join the street dance troop, with help, care, consideration and nurturing from Nikki has come on leaps and bounds and massively grown in both strength and confidence. I couldn’t ask for more from Nikki, the dance school teacher. She has helped all of my children grow in confidence and character through their journey at HDA. I would highly recommend Nikki and her dance school to anyone looking for a fun, nurturing and fulfilling dance experience for their children.”
“Booking the studio and communication is a 10 out of 10. The studio set up and facility is a dancers dream place to be. Highly recommend!”
“I’ve worked with Marcia and her dancers on a number of projects now and they’re nothing less than a masters of their craft. It’s always a joy to see the inspiration Marcia passes on to her students and the routines they make look so easy. If you’re interested in dance, attend a session.”
“We are thrilled at how well our daughter has settled in to this dance school. Amy is just wonderful and so encouraging. The school is competitive but not clicky and is a lovely place to dance. Thank you, Amy. We didn’t know we were going to find a dance school like this.”

“My daughter loves story ballet. She is learning real ballet moves and positions without realising it and just has fun. Great teaching and the cuddly princess dance partners are a hit!”
“We have attended Heather's classes and dances for about 15 years now. An excellent teacher and lovely music at her social dances.”
“Great for core strength, posture and low impact hard work! I know you can get this from yoga, Pilates etc, but anyone who ever did performance dance will enjoy this additional element (and reliving our youth!!). Helena gives good feedback with explanation (to the whole class so no one feels singled out!) so poor technique can be corrected for maximum benefit.”
