“Attended a private function at the Gongoozler and had a fabulous time. Really friendly and hard working staff. The buffet put on was great and the drinks service was good. Nice selection of local ales available. Really lovely location on the canal edge overlooking the BCLM. Wheelchair accessible as a 96 year old relative had no trouble accessing the venue in her wheelchair. Plenty of parking with an honesty box for donations.”

“Beautiful reserve with two large lakes and running streams. Ideal for walking and cycling. Lots of goose and birds with pleasant sounds. The empty fields have some of the most magnificent scenery during the hot months of summer.”

“Amazing fish and chips ! Probably some of the best we’ve ever eaten . We went on a Saturday during storm Amy, queue wasn’t too bad about 10 minute wait but it’s all part of the experience as you take in your surroundings. Would make the journey again just for this food !”

Locally my favourite, They do have sit in but I would persum that this service is unavailable with the covied situation at present. Order in store or online. They have a parking area to the left hand side ( always spaces ) very much recommend.”

“I would say the best chips shop i have ever been too.Never disappointed me been going there from past few years. Literally me and my family love the food from there every thing is perfect freshly cooked nice and clean with high quality food.i will say must try peri peri chicken their pizza’s spicy wings and Masala fish u won’t find it anywhere else that’s the best on i have ever had and the most important thing is staff is very friendly there.”
