“Excellent selection of animals to see and lots of interactive habitats like the Lemur Woods. The train is a cool touch too! Prepare yourself for a lot of uphill climbing throughout the day if you're bringing toddlers! Unfortunately some exibit closures during our visit in preparation for Christmas, and the rides and pop-up restaurant stands were closed. There are vending machines dotted around but they're all coin-only so pretty useless.”

“I took the Taxis In Westside service to get to my exams for two days. I usually take public transportation, but I decided to book taxis because I didn't know how long the tube strikes would last. I booked the taxis ahead of time through their website, which gave me fair prices. Both times, the drivers got there a few minutes early, which was great, and they got me to my exams on time. Both of the drivers were polite and friendly, and we had great conversations that helped calm my nerves before my exams. The cars were kept clean and in good shape. “Not my first visit and certainly won’t be my last, but by far some of the best chip shop food you can buy. Exceptional value. I had a large mixed meat and chips. All fresh, hot, and a generous portion. I sometimes order from other chip shops depending where I am, and the food here is a completely different league. Highly recommended! “Incredible professional and easy experience easy access with ease of parking and a friendly environment upon entering i was completely satisfied with the services offered and even opted for a face steamer service which has really helped my skin. Overall if anyone around the West Midlands area is in need of a new barber which offers sound entertainment and a safe and easy environment then look no further. “The only way my experience would have been improved would be more time. There is so much to see and explore. Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming (thank you Kevin!). Buildings have been gathered and rebuilt on site to represent several periods of the Black Country's history. Victorian Era, 1930's and '40's, and into the '50's and '60's. The garage near the entrance has a grand collection of cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. I did have time for a glass of cider at Vaults in the Elephant & Castle. They have hands on workshops to make nails and Bricks. If you didn't already know, a lot of filming for the Peaky Blinders show has been done here. “Thought I’d give it a try after going there after going something like 20 years ago. I thought I’d made a mistake until the food came and I demolished it. I had full English breakfast with coffee. 5 star and thoroughly enjoyed it. And best of all was the price. I mentioned when I left that it was fantastic and very cheap. Thanks girls. “Attended a private function at the Gongoozler and had a fabulous time. Really friendly and hard working staff. The buffet put on was great and the drinks service was good. Nice selection of local ales available. Really lovely location on the canal edge overlooking the BCLM. Wheelchair accessible as a 96 year old relative had no trouble accessing the venue in her wheelchair. Plenty of parking with an honesty box for donations.”

“It's a wonderful park for walking, cycling, jogging etc. It has a tennis court as well as a football ground .”

“Great scenic place to walk around and get some great photos. For the most part, it is nice and quiet and only occasionally see people walking around through the trees. The exception is where there are roads nearby, where the day I went, there was a tatter scrap truck driving around with its siren call on full blast, which ruins the whole experience. The most popular area would be the bright quarry where you'll find plenty of fossils. To walk around the whole reserve is quite the workout, and there are steps leading to different parts, but the steps can be very steep and hard to climb. As you continue down into the reserve, there are parts where it goes to its lowest point that doesn't get much sunlight, so the ground may be muddy, but it's very nice around here. The alternative to this is to climb the steps to the highest points where you'll be able to see for miles. Had not been here for many years, but it's relatively unchanged. The only real letdown (and biggest change) is the Seven Sisters Caverns (or caves). The council has blocked off and filled in all the caverns with fences and rocks. They have ruined a historical landmark. Like the fences should be enough to keep people out, but to fill in caverns is just out of order. There used to be cave exploration parties in the past, but now is just a thing of the past. What's funny is the caverns are fenced off, but if you walk around through the trees, there are many many spots where there are considerable drops into very deep ditches that are just out in the open and not fenced off at all. If you fall through some of these, you're going to get hurt badly. Just stick to the path though, and you'll be fine. As for the quarry with fossils, I last went here over 25 years ago, and it might have been my mind playing tricks on me, but if you don't like spiders, then don't walk around the quarry towards the evening, as I remember seeing all the rocks suddenly swarm with hundreds of tiny spiders. In the daytime, though, you probably won't see any. The whole area is well worth the visit, and feels like a different country away from the normal everyday life of Dudley.”

“What a beautiful place for a walk and the visitor centre is superb and had a nice cup of Earl Grey (my favourite),they are really friendly people and welcome (well behaved) dogs. Went there with our 2 year old Dobermann and Drone camera to get some pics and had a wonderful morning .”

“Very quiet. Not so much a park but what was left of the countryside before they built a huge housing estate. It’s all up hill or down hill. A few benches. Small play area with climbing frames. A bowling green. Tennis courts. I was in the area but I couldn’t see myself ever travelling there on purpose.”

“The staff are always polite and welcoming food always on point and consistently full of flavor, you can tell there isn't different different people cooking. Ordered take away and they went above and beyond, the portion sizes are excellent always some left over to go back and eat later lol. Have also sat in to eat and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed but professional. Eating area always clean and tidy. Highly recommend this place.”

“They have very big portions! We have the set menus, a few curry’s and the paratha and omelette combo. All the food was perfectly seasoned and definitely worth the price. We were so full we ended up having to take some food away. The waitress was lovely.”

“Amazing fish and chips ! Probably some of the best we’ve ever eaten . We went on a Saturday during storm Amy, queue wasn’t too bad about 10 minute wait but it’s all part of the experience as you take in your surroundings. Would make the journey again just for this food !”
