“Fantastic school, could do with being a little more consistent with teachers but apart from that, the school is ran very well. The food is great, all staff are friendly.”
“Wonderful school. Right balance of academic focus and creative curriculum. Arts are celebrated and encouraged. My son is thriving here.”
“they are an awsome school they have funny teachers they have amazing education its outstanding”
“My children love this school & look forward to attending. It is a small village school, in a countryside location and has a friendly, welcoming atmostphere. The teachers I have encountered seem to genuinely care about the pupils they teach. The recent negative Ofsted report was undeserved, with the main issue being the management and leadership of the school at the time. The school has now become an academy with new leadership.”
“Best school ever! I would know because I go there”
“Great school, my 2 children have thrived here. Great community feel and great teachers.”

“I worked at this school from Oct 2016 - Feb 2018. A wonderful school. The teachers and all staff are incredibly friendly, supportive and caring. All the pupils are polite, look after and support each other. A great family atmosphere.”
“My friend jasmine loves it they do alt of plays”
“I went to Westbury for all of my primary school years, and I loved it!”
“As a parent of three children who have attended the school and one who still attends (nearly 15 years of driving too and from there), I have nothing but praise for it. It is a small school, but they fill all the spaces with fun things for the children. The staff are both approachable and friendly, who are always available for discussions and offer help when needed, even when personal issues arise, they really do go out of their way to support both the children and parents. During lockdown they have been amazing!!! They had structured days ready for the children so they had some sort of routine during these confusing times, which I know some other schools in Bristol didn't have. The education they have received has been great, I have two children who have dyslexia and they pulled all the stops out to help them in every way they could, when my children left primary to go to secondary school not only was the handover from the two schools great, but my children left feeling confident and they had a strong understanding of what was needed to help them so they could ask when they started 'big' school. I leave my child at the school gates every morning happy and I know that they are in a safe, kind, fun and caring place, which is all I've ever asked for as a parent.”
“I've worked here for a few days over a few weeks and have enjoyed it. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make sure you know where you're going and know what you're doing. They're always smiling and laughing. I don't know why it's rated so low because it has lovely facilities and a homey feel.”
