“Impressed is an understatement. Its my 50th next month and decided to have a look at some jewellers in Burton. We stumbled upon Hiscox. The gentleman that we spoke to on Saturday, 20 April was amazing. I told him exactly what I was looking for (an Emerald (birth stone) ring). He was more than happy to talk me through the clarity, quality etc. He also confirmed my reasons for looking for pre-owned. Although I didn't purchase a ring in their pre-owned section, I would definitely recommend anyone looking for pre-owned or new to go, if only for advice. I will be in touch to see if they have had any new pre-own rings. The one thing that he said to me definitely stuck with me after that conversation was "a ring choses you", which I really like and I am happy to wait if need be.”

“The lovely lady in the Burton shop cut off my wedding ring as it was stuck. So kind, and gentle. After leaving my finger to get back to normal for 8 weeks I left my wedding ring, engagement ring and eternity ring to be resized. Expecting to have to wait at least two weeks, I was delighted to get them back within a couple of days. They now fit perfectly, can’t tell they’ve been altered and look like new. Thank you Hardwicks, such a professional job and lovely staff. You will be my first port of call in the future for anything jewellery related.”

All the staff are very knowledgable in there field and give you full attention and assistance when choosing a piece of jewellery . And l can’t believe what l have heard today l just called in to the store for chat with Darrell(manager) to find out the shop is being closed l feel that doing this will cause a big void in quality watch and jewellery outlets in burton I’m sure that this is not needed after Derby being closed l thought burton would be safe and somewhere l could still do business with please rethink your model in your burton shop it’s a place for not only buying but sometimes for a chat and advice Brian Lees”

“I would eat here again, food wasn't anything special and slightly pricing for what it was. But, decent portions, enough seating and in a nice area close to a walk around some greenery. They were happy to customise my order slightly to fit in with my requirements.”

“This is my 2nd time ordering, both times extremely quick delivery, order Wednesday night and have received it Friday morning.So much choice and such piece of mind knowing the treats are all natural, my border collie has sensitive tummy but has had no issues with any of the treats, she loves the black pudding sticks and my bull Lurcher normally eats through treats in seconds but the hoofs have lasted ages. “We had a brilliant time here on Saturday afternoon, some enjoying 2 for 1 cocktails and others the coffee. It is a lovely venue and the staff were incredibly friendly & happy. There were 15 of us but there was never a delay in getting a drink. They closed at 5pm but were happy with us finishing up & didn't rush us. I have been here a lot for food but will definitely come back for drinks.”
