“The best cafe we found in 400 miles cycling from Devon to Yorkshire. We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was good and strong, the breakfast was amazing and the cake portions were very generous. The owner was very chatty and helpful with recommendations for the local area. I wish we were local so we could come back!”

“All I can say is by far the best pizza place in the area! Every time I have ordered they follow every special requirement to the letter (we're a picky bunch!) and we're never dissapointed. The pizzas are perfectly baked, with generous toppings of fresh, flavoursome ingredients and arrive piping hot to our address. I opt for one of the meal deals when we have the kids back from uni or friends/family over and the value for money is exceptional. “Pizza tasted great and the twisted cheese dough balls are really good! Domino's overall is great and I've never had any issues. It looks overpriced at first but if you use the Domino's app you can get some great deals especially if you collect your food from the store. This Domino's is open till 5am which is great if your up all night and looking to order food! I definitely recommend trying the twisted cheese dough balls one of the best sides on the menu!”

“This is a good Chinese restaurant with really friendly staff and a menu with a good range of options. There are dishes that you would see at most Chinese restaurants as well as some that are less common, which is always nice to see. They are happy to make reasonable changes to dishes for you. Allergens are labeled on the menu and we've eaten here several times with no issues with allergen cross contamination, even when we haven't specifically pointed it out. The building is an old English pub so from the outside you might not realise that it is a Chinese restaurant, making it feel like a bit of a hidden gem to me! I've visited several times now and will definitely be going back!”

“The GameBird Beverley and The Pie guys-we have just had fish and chip takeaway and I have to say it was bloody lovely. The fish was well cooked and not greasy and there were no lumps of batter without fish in it. The chips were huge and really well cooked through and the added touches with the lemon and mushy peas and tartar sauce were brilliant. It was delivered really quickly and very hot. Will definitely be getting a takeaway again -thank you so much Greg and Jim”
