It is welcoming to small children at 18 months, but is also great now my girls are 3. They think they are just playing and having the best fun time, and don't realise all the effort that has gone in to hide their learning - so last week they were painting with water on the playground tarmac, and didn't realise they were practicing their mark making. Then they had a fab time in a previous session with all sorts of things in the water pool, accidentally learning about things that float and things that don't, and that ice melts into water... :-)”
