“We were in Manchester Saturday 17th so we decided to book our first experience in an escape room. There was me, my husband, daughter and sister. We booked the Creepy Carnival to start with as a two star difficulty rating. We had no idea how to play or what to look for but with the help of some clues from the staff we managed to break out with a minute to spare. It was so much fun trying to solve the clues and move from room to room using our logic and brain power. We enjoyed it that much, we booked another room for later on that evening. Different theme, harder rating. Despite our best efforts we failed to escape this one. We had an absolute blast. The rooms are well thought out, the clues are imaginative and if you're struggling there's lots of help from outside. Innovative and intriguing and the staff are lovely and welcoming, including Conrad who was very diplomatic about our combined efforts trying to decipher the puzzles. All in all a superb day out. Worth every penny. We will be back to try the harder ones in the future.”

“Visited last night. Probably one of my favourite pubs now. Lovely food, great friendly and attentive staff and very cosey atmosphere. Bit pricey though, but worth it to see all the fires lit!”

“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

There was four of us in our party , booked in yesterday and each and everyone of us had amazing meals. So reasonable and they even finished off surprising me with a special birthday dessert. “Had a previous repair where I had a wheeled shopping bag axel which had lost the clip permanently clipped in place, this time I thought the other one had broken and wouldn't lock in place any more. All he had to do, which surprised me was take the clip out, tighten it, put the clip back in and gently bang the wheel back in place. As well as a few garden bits I've bought from this chap, he's been a great help and he's got virtually everything bits and bobs you need for fixing up stuff.”

Some of the Iceland Supermarket Products are excellent value for money, for example the Frozen Pizza, Hunter's Chicken including the Frozen Vegetables available like Garden Peas, Broccoli, Sweet Baby Carrots, Baby Spinach & Mixed Veg Packs. Also fine for Frozen Fish & Seafood & some Fish Meals. They sell a Decent size Bag of Frozen Seafood which contains Mussels, King Prawns & Squid Rings that is ideal for cooking Sicilian Seafood Linguine Pasta. Not too busy Midweek but it is Busy Friday, Saturday. So, some fine economical item choices for a Small Budget.”

“Couldn't recommend this place enough! I used to go in every Friday after work at my previous job, and everyone (staff and customer) was always incredibly friendly and make us all feel welcome. I also booked a few tables for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and they were very accommodating. Food is great too!”

“I have been using Church Lane Garage for approximately 4-5 Years. I would never dream about going anywhere else. Ali is extremely reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and gets a job done in no time. For example on a Saturday morning (without notice) I dropped my car off at 9am which needed a new exhaust, he had managed to order and fit by 2pm that very same day! Talk about Service! To top it off he is very reasonably priced and I could personally not recommend him highly enough. Thanks Ali. :-)”
