βA rare gem of a B&B! Firstly, driving into Hayfield offers some fantastic views of the Peak District. Millie's is conveniently located right in the centre with plenty of parking outside and around that is free. We never struggled to find a space. Rukiya is very welcoming and kept in touch leading up to our visit and on the day of with lots of useful information and to keep in communication with us. She was there to greet us at the door and showed us to our room - Twenty Trees. The room was lovingly decorated with a cute view of the trail leading to Kinder Scout over the top of some roofs. Millie's is ideally located for many things. There is Sett Valley Trail conveniently located a stones throw away as well as the Kinder Scout trail. We also travelled 20mins and visited Castleton for the Speedwell Cavern (really cool) and Mam Tor hike. Lyme Park is not far either and there's also Buxton and Bakewell. Rukiya is by far my favourite ever host at a B&B - I have stayed at a fair few! She really loves what she does and that passion shines through. Her breakfast dishes were all freshly made and so delicious as well as the coffee and sweet treats. The sausages were divine. We also bought some chocolates to take home and try. Thank you Rukiya for your outstanding service. We're now planning to return soon for afternoon tea with family so we can try all of her delicious bakes too! This has to be booked in advance though so bare that in mind. She's constantly booked up for the B&B so I advise you book early to avoid disappointment and direct for the best prices. The tea room is only open on the weekends. During the weekday, Rukiya has breakfast service for B&B guests only. She can also make sandwiches for packed lunch for hikes with prior notice. Can't wait to visit again and also congratulations on being the only halal B&B in the whole of the Peak District. Millie's is welcoming to everyone. The outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and I'm so glad I have finally visited after waiting 3 whole years!β
βI had the seafood here and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A wonderful dining experience Iβd happily repeatβ

βOne of the yummiest juicey burger. Do try swiss cheese. Juicey beef with excellent blend of sauces and mushrooms. Added pictures after eating half of it because I forgot to take. It was so yummy. Very reasonable prices. You will never find such food in this price range. Free roadside parking for 1 hr. Quickly served. Not much place to sit inside but manageable for 8-10 people. Halal food .β

Drinks and some snack bars available and some climbing g essentials to buy. Welcoming staff and onside parking. Press the green button while pushing the door to get in from the car park.β

βThe most beautiful restaurant. Sat outside on a lovely sunny day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I very rarely change where I eat an Italian as not many places do it perfectly but piccolo was recommended by the friend I visited with and it did not disappoint. Arancini was a delicious starter and I had the carbonara which was delicious. My friend had the lasagna which was very rich in flavour and delicious. Will definitely go againβ
βVery nice food, great quality and lovely service! Highly recommend and would return!β
βAmazing food and service. We eat Persian food frequently and this place is one of the best we have been to!β
βInteresting first visit to this place. Power cut during the live show, a drunk horse that looked like it could do with a kebab, the snooker table was a bit wonky and the fruit machine appeared to pay out in Deutsche Marks. The psychic offended my dad, who isn't remotely interested in touching up children. I got white gloss on my new jacket, and there were smouldering tissues in the toilet waste bin where someone had lobbed a cigar. The door staff also made inappropriate comments about the opening hours of my girlfriend's legs. Bar staff great, but the optics could probably do with lowering a bit as they were serving shorts in vases. The new Japanese lager they were promoting certainly packs a punch and got me absolutely wasted. Kids' play area was decent with a great snake-themed bouncy castle and a Berry chew dispenser. Unfortunately I didn't get any action when we got home as the machine selling the flavoured contraceptives appeared to be 10 years out of date. Overall, best place I've been for ages. Will be back :)β
βReally nice sensory room which my little boy loved and nice cafe. Friendly staff there. Will vist again.β
