“Had a wonderful time at this college, and it doesn't feel real I'm leaving already. The first year was a little difficult in the t level digital, but we got so many trips to so many places, and more importantly got a trip to Vienna for work experience, and they blessed the PC rooms with 3060s and i7 12700s (kinda fire) Then in the second year, we got a more relaxed year focusing on web development, and more on our industry placements. But with all the trips, festivals, and fun I had at this college, I don't think I could've asked for better. I'm glazing the hell out of it but the 2 week Vienna trip was peak. I'll miss you guys, especially you Jules, Aron and Baz.”

“I gained a 2:1 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering here. Good course with great tutors. Like everything in life, the more you put in the more you get out. I got involved with the Guild of Students (students union), which put me in contact with students from across the whole university. In my final year I had a serious illness and was given a leave of absence and allowed to repeat the year at no extra cost. Support and assistance was always available and if you didn't know from where you could just drop into the Guild's offices and ask. At the start of the course you are told to read the regulations and assessment criteria for your programme, many students don't and that's why they are taken by surprise by some rules. Most assessments have two opportunities to pass but sometimes they don't or the student runs out of time. That is the regulations state that the course must be completed including all assessments within so many years of enrollment, normally it's twice as long as the course, so a three year degree must be completed within six years. I sat on the Appeals committee as a student representative, it's surprising how many students run out the clock. One took six years on their first year and was asking for an extension of another six years, hoping to complete level 4 the following year. Unfortunately, the maximum time limit is a regulation set in stone and although we could allow them time to complete the course the fees would apply for every year, a degree could not be awarded if they passed.”

“I studied at Carmel College for my A-Levels and adored it. The staff are amazing, the courses are great and the students are all kind and friendly. I enjoyed it so much that I am currently studying the UAL Art Foundation Diploma at the college. 10/10 would 100% recommend to any students who are thinking of studying here.”

“I've taken down my last review because since then the college has really stepped up in a big way fatou, tara, tony, kelly & mike have all gone above and beyond to get my son through his course to get his certificate. I can't thank fatou enough either she's meant to be on maternity leave but she's helping my son get his last pieces of work done and that is what i call dedication and shows that the students mean the world to the tutors. And also if they're made aware of any problems they will do anything and everything to get them the help they need and passed The only negative i can say is that there should be more communication from the college to keep parents aware of how their kids are doing and if there is any problems then it can be sorted out fast between the college & parents to make sure that the child will get through the course.”
