“Lovely church with considerate congregation and great minister.”
“I went to this school, back in 1986-93 although I didn't like school, I wouldn’t fault it, the teachers did a brilliant job, it can't have been easy and the head teacher was good as well, remembering all of the pupils names, I have trouble remembering my own children's names, so to remember how ever many pupils were there at the time I was there, he must have had a good memory.”
“Never liked talking my problems out always bottled stuff up. Self medicated, thought I knew best. It doesn't work trust me. Just try talking to a stranger, it does help. Found it very helpful just unloading a few problems, small steps. worth giving it a go.”
“Had lots of fun when I was there. Plus heard stories of what happened in the tower back in the late 1980’s early 1990’s, don’t if it’s still going round today.”
“Excellent experience! Great nursery. Definitely recommend!”
“i love it because it is my school”
“Both my daughters used to go there and to be honest the teachers are so lovely and kind .I would recommend this school to every child. A happy mother. Nohi.”
“My nephew has started here. He has settled well and the staff are absolutely brilliant! Really clean and lovely premises”
“A hidden gem.... small independent school with a happy atmosphere and great ethos”
“My children feel safe in this school.”
“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”
“Send my daughter here and this is her second nursery. Very very happy with all the team here. My daughter’s key worker is amazing and genuinely makes us feel our daughter is properly cared for. We stayed for a little bit one afternoon for a Father’s Day stay and play and you could see the bond that they had made. It was heartwarming to see. If we had another baby we wouldn’t hesitate to send them here. Thank you to all the staff for all the amazing work you do!”
“I'm in Secondary rn lol. School isn't bad but the strictness of our uniform is ridiculous. You have to wear a certain earring in class and certain socks for pe.”
“My son is half way through his first term at Great Waves Kenley. He has made excellent progress learning to swim each week. He is given lots of attention and direction, and the wonderful instructors are patient and encouraging. We will be signing up our youngest child very soon. Thank you Great Waves!”
“In my experience this school truly cares for the welfare of its students. I cannot praise it highly enough. Mrs V de Gay”
“Very good Little Learners Day Nursery Purley, Very good staff, I highly recommend it.”
“This is the second nursery we have tried in this area. It is far and away the best. The teachers are dedicated professionals (most are also Montessori trained in addition to EYFS training) who are obviously enjoying their work with children, and who are committed to Lemon Tree in the long term. In other words, unlike the other nursery we tried which had huge problems with staff turnover, the teachers at Lemon Tree know us, we know all of them, and most importantly they and the children know each other. Every week my partner and I talk about how relieved we are that our son is at Lemon Tree, and how confident we feel in the care and attention he is receiving there. They also have an enormous outdoor play area with real grass and trees, not just a carpark covered in astroturf. The children are given many opportunities for outside play and they integrate natural learning with their Montessori curriculum. I would recommend this place without qualification.”
“I go to Margaret roper and it is the best”
“Both daughters attend the school, really nice community feel.”
“I'm in this school and it is really good and everyone is hardworking here and everyone has fun so I say 5 stars.”
