“Delicious full breakfast for the whole family— my children are like beats! Friendly, warm, easy going atmosphere for families (including furry babies!). I’ve also been here alone for a coffee and quick work catch-up and meetings with friends and it’s always been a winner! To top this all off, I was stuck with my bicycle without my bike lock— disaster, especially as my son’s bicycle was stolen a few weeks ago— and my gym (opposite Fragola) refused to house the bike for the two hours I had sessions, and I risked it and asked them and they agreed!! A kind and generous, thank you.”
“The Moreish Cafe Deli is a hidden gem in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. Located at 76 Marchmont Street, WC1N 1AG, the Deli is owned by the lovely host Jenny. Jenny is a wonderful cook and almost everything you can get at the Moreish Café Deli, is handmade by her. Also, the place is eco friendly: all cutlery and plates are biodegradable - approved by several Professors in environment at LSHTM, UCL and LSE. The owner is really friendly, always with a smile on (behind her mask now), ready for a chat, exchange of ideas and knowledge. She is also very kind and I have seen her in many occasions help people outside on the street. Very open minded person, always ready to defend anyone! A superb Café Deli! There are a great diversity of drinks and foods (vegetarian and vegan): - fresh juices, fresh teas, iced teas, coffee (espreso, americanos latte, cappuccino, flat white, mocha, macchiato), golden milk, hot hats and different types of milks (regular, soy, almond, oat) - gelatos & sorbettos (all super mouth-watering, gluten free and vegan) - gluten free cakes (vegan fruit cakes very low in added sugar, vegetarian baked lemon cheesecake, vegetarian chocolate brownie) - a variety of pastries (pain croissants, almond croissants, pain au chocolate, pain au raisin, pain aux chocolate & almond) - multigrain loaves - a big variety of vegetarian and vegan sandwiches - a large assortment of vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and lunches (See photos for the most recent menu) The menu changes with the seasons, according to lovely Jenny. Depending on the season and festivities, the Deli adjusts their menu and decoration. And to top it all, Jenny now sells the most extraordinary plants I have ever seen. As she usually says, “with the pandemic, people went away and the plants came in”. Now that we are all back to “normal”, we are enjoying the Moreish Cafe Deli at its best, with space outside and inside in the middle of this little wonderful jungle that Jenny created! All of this in the heart of London! A could not recommend it more! Go and enjoy!! P.S.: having in mind the quality (all handmade) and big quantity of the portions of each food and drink, I truly believe it is all at a very fair price. Especially when compared to the local cafes in the area, where prices are similar, but with low quality and quantity of food and drinks and lack of friendly waiters… Hence, my option to always go to the Moreish Café Deli. P.S. 2: I also agree with the policy of no laptops. The vibe of the deli is to serve delicious food and drink and enjoy a moment in the day. Not to spend hours using a device and not consuming. P.S. 3: Ice-creams and sorbets are SUPERB!!!!!”
“Great coffee. Very tasty and quality food. I tried the salad box and it was amazing. My son had avocado on toast and brownie and he loved it. You can easily tell that it is also fresh. Staff is very kind. The price is affordable compared to some other coffee shops in the restaurant. Give it a try. I am sure you will love it.”
“Lovely café with a nice range of lunch options. I was pleasantly surprised to see a dedicated kids’ menu – something you don’t come across often. Overall, had a really good experience and would definitely visit again.”
“Really good cafe doing American style breakfast but also other styles such as Mediterranean, English and caribbean. The portions are huge, food is delicious and service is so friendly. Be aware that the chicken wings in breakfast is very very sweet. If you’re not keen on sweet breakfasts, go for a more traditional breakfast. Love it here tho and coffee was good. This is a nice place for a fun breakfast outing on special occasions. I’m not a fan of the iridescent knife and fork but that’s minor !”
“The scone with jam and cream might be the best one I've ever had. Lovely location in the garden centre.”
“Good little coffee shops with nice top floor and well decorated. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a coffee in piece. You’ll find a good selection of hot and cold drinks. Lots of sandwiches and pastries. Unfortunately no kitchen and no hot breakfast is served there. Stuff could be a little more friendly and welcoming. Service though was fast and we didn’t wait to be seated or to order. Good coffee shop I recommend”
“This is the best cafe I’ve been to, I’m comfortable here and the staff are so helpful and kind and most importantly patient and the food here are a great reasonable price for such a good portion. Tastes delicious too!! Absolutely nothing to complain about”
“Wonderful calming atmosphere - nice furniture, good lighting, Classic FM gently playing. But not the place to go if you're in a rush! I visited a couple months ago and will return soon. The owner makes lovely strong coffee (I had the macchiato, so I'm sure there are gentler brews!) and takes great care in making sandwiches to order. He's an elderly guy so he's quite slow, but I didn't mind at all. And all for such a low price that I forgot I was even in London!!”
“Chicken supreme sandwich was delicious”
“Decent tasty food at reasonable price with good service. One note tables suitable for singles and small groups, we were 3 so it was great but if we came, in full force of 10 might be an issue.”
“Nice place to grab a lunch while out on my visits. Free WiFi, nice chilled atmosphere, could do with bigger cushions on the bench seating”
“I love coming here for their msemen. There’s a nice selection of sandwich fillings and pastries. Staff are also friendly”
“I happen to visit the cafe during hi team time. It is perfect place to relax with outdoor terrace seating in a warm and sunny day. The interiors are bright and inviting as well. The food is fresh with all European flavours to savory crepes . The cafe offers a wide choice of tea & coffee selection along with pastry & Ice cream to offer. The service was prompt and warmly anticipated.”
“A delightful hidden gem of a cafe, great as both a working or relaxing space. Delicious selection of drinks and teas, and the service was wonderfully warm and friendly. Highly recommend!”
“This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. I'd give it more stars if it was possible.”
“The vibe of the café was great and the music selection was on point. A staff member named Mahshid served me. she was super friendly. And honestly, it was the best English breakfast I’ve ever had.”
“I liked their Friday special foods.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic café! Came here for breakfast and everything was perfect — the food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The orange juice was fresh and refreshing, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The place has a lovely atmosphere, great vibes, and is spotless. Perfect spot to start your morning or catch up with friends. Definitely coming back!”
“The cafe is a great place. My usual sausage sandwich and double espresso are very good quality. Staff very friendly and welcoming.”
“Great breakfast, done to perfection. Will definitely come here again. Soft music, easy 2 hour parking outside and walking distance of the station. Cakes to tempt. Delicious coffee.”
“We’ve been in the winter, where the best place to sit is inside by the fire; Spring, where the conservatory is nice, and now outside in the summer. My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.”
“Absolutely fab cafe. Peaceful but should be much much busier given how great the Scrambled on toast was. And lovely coffee too. Will return.”
“The employees are amazing. We’ve been on vacation for a week and they’re the friendliest people we’ve ever met here. Tysm. Delicious food.”
“A cozy gem in the heart of the city! The coffee is rich and flavorful, with standout drinks like their signature cold brew. The menu offers delicious pastries and savory options like eggs benedict, perfect for brunch. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. Friendly staff and great service round out the experience. A must-visit for coffee lovers!”
“A lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, or brunch with a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Their omelettes and coffees are always a treat - would 100% recommend!”
“Great old school cafe in the very posh Parsons Green. Food is great value for money and they are very generous with the portions, perfect for a hangover. Good to see a cafe like this still open in this day and age, very relaxed unpretentious atmosphere. Bonus marks for having a TV showing the Italian Job (original Michael Caine version) which entertained me whilst I waited for my mate.”
“This is one of my favourite cafe when i was working in this area 10 years ago .ozzie was here cooking our food .that's where you will get the fattest bacon roll or sandwich in london”
“Wow! Amazing sandwich. Chicken, avocado and sun dried tomato on sourdough. Delicious and enormous. Only £5. My only concern was I think the price was too low in this crazy world we live in. It was worth £6.50. thank you so much. I will be back!!! No photos to add as took away and it is very happily nestling in my belly!!!”
“The area needed a coffee shop ! Good and strong coffee, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Service is a bit slow but it’s still new so it should get better !”
