“I was visiting on a very sunny day and the tea shop was not busy on arrival (around 10.30). By the time I had walked around the gardens, it was lunchtime, and the cafe was busy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The cake was delicious. The gardens are beautiful, and there is plenty of space for either a short walk or a longer one.”

“I buy everything from them and they always have stock and good prices. But what's more important is they save me £100's in repair people call out fees by just telling me what I need to do to fix stuff in / outside my house. I spoke to a neighbour and he said they do the same for him. A good solid family business that genuinely cares about local people's homes all being fixed and functioning well. “We spent our Wednesday night at Black Horse eating the Kenyan Koroga. Best value curry I’ve had for years. The chef (Shamim )made our food exactly as we described and could see all the ingredients he used. It took approx 45 mins and included rice and naans. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning. Dhruv at the bar was flawless, serving pints in seconds.”

“Malina is passionate about giving kids the best start. Our son progressed a lot after being in her care. Due to the small group size, he was able to get more individual attention. Malina is caring and quite motherly so I felt satisfied whenever I left him with her. Her setting has a homely feel so he settled quickly and looked forward to going to there because he felt comfortable. If we didn't move abroad, he would still be at Pollywogs.”
